Well ahead of its time, and the audience applauding to the features like it was a brand new app of today.

That replay feature is frankly the most amazing thing I've seen on such an old system

Photoshop history as well as undo is still a reminiscent feature from back then. Works on the same principles as replay.

An old 1970’s computer that still works and can still go on the modern day internet. Comes to show computers and electronics were made to last back then. Not the crap we buy nowdays that only lasts 3 - 4 years. Probably not even that.

Amazingly close to what we have now and the response time seems only a shade slower.

Because it use a tape drive. Tape drive are very slower than HDD and floppy disk. SSD we now use today are very fastest

And the processor in Xerox Alto is not a single chip processor its a multiple chip processor using TTL chips and its CPU clock rate is 5.88 MHz which is very lesser than compare to our modern computer CPU clock rate which is 800MHz, 900MHz, 1.0GHz, 1.5GHz, 2.0GHz, 3.0GHz, 5.0GHz, etc.

@@chackomathew825 Right. of course it's going to be slower. It's 45 years old.

the amazing feature (replay mode) not exist today what a shame! However, those people created a legacy where all people around the globe still using until today. Also I hope we will have some seminar regarding the history of implementing the languages to the computer's application since I believe it was a huge challenge back in those days.

Who brought a baby to this?

Seriously, no matter how somber/inappropriate there will always be some random person who brings their child and then can't control them. Ever hear of a nanny/babysitter?

The more things change, the more they remain the same. Even the time required to open documents hasn't changed much, thanks to software bloat.

He made that mistake on purpose, just to show how easy it was to fuck up right?
