Picture kids pushing one another towards the beach with all beach-watchers hanging around. They plunge into the water, build sand castles, laugh, play, turn the radio on and later slap the tape in … and they sing …
They are 14-K. Five typical kids in their pre-teen years.
14-K features the deep soaring vocals of Donna, Aviette, Timmy, Eric and Pasqui. 14-K is out to prove that a child can be an active, creative and self-motivated person who can discover things for themselves and, more importantly, friends.
14-K made their debut in the OPM scene via the song “Sama-sama” which was followed by “Dadaanin Ko Na Lang Sa Kanta” and “Yesterday’s Dream”.
There is more to come from this brood but for the time being, let us savor the freshness of their music, the harmony of their sound and oneness of voices - that is unmistakably 14-K.
