@@systematicthe creators of VSH literally made a video that they was working together with valve so they can implement their game mode in the base game and low and behold it did and it's more polished it's even got new voicelines
can't blame people for not knowing VSH is official now, they had to remove the maps temporarily because they launched broken lmao. so, one new game mode. and the community fixes are still coming but had to be pushed back so they could get the update out. I'm just thankful we got anything at this point tbh, people should see it as 'testing the waters' for future community updates! maybe there will be more. probably not, but optimism never hurt
Community fixes. Working VSH gamemode. Contractor? Some kind of blog post? Something?? Not just 14 maps with 4 being broken. The only thing valve worked on was cosmetics and $. And even that is mostly taken from community work. Even map updates like CP_STEEL might not be Valves work for all we know. VHS gamemode works. It took 7months of work from the community to make it into TF2. And valve failed to launch it working. Something having to do with there causal servers. Did not even bother to play test it? Or hotfix it? After 12h+??? Valve just removed the new gamemode and that was it. It is 100% on Valves end that caused the gamemode to not work. But that is ok if Valve you know.. Made a quick blog post saying something about it? Just sorry we need time fixing it on our end community! Go and thank the community contributors for this update and work put into the game! Na Valve stayed silent for over 12+ hours. Just 2 update info posted for TF2. Meaning that somone at vavle was able to update the game. But not do a blog post just to clear up that VSH is going to come back when Valve fixes there stuff? It looks like Valve at most did 3 thins for this update. Or 5. Maybe 6.. 1# Made the update happen. And did a hot-fix patch 6 hours later. 2# Took easy to add community stuff to make $. And fixes some older cosmetic they made $$$ of. 3# Added VSH in a broken state on there end. 4# Made a blog post over hyping the update weeks ago. Just to change it later. 5# Made new voice lines for SAXTON HAAALE! 6# Security fixes??? That is it.
@@TheDiner50 may I ask a question? Is that new to you for Valve to screw up? I am not surprised and at this point and I don't really care, I just play on 2fort or hightower without paying all that much.
I saw that coming and people still cope by saying it's something at least.Imagine people had standards and actually called valve out on this nothing of a update maybe then they will stop adding shit from the workshop as a "update" with some bug fixes months after they appeard and ruined mvm and such.
New gamemode did not work. And Valve removed it from the match maker when there 3min update did not work out. 3min of doing work at Valve. That was to much. Or they spent time playtesting the update and yet it launched completely broken. Somehow. And Valve just cut the new gamemode from the match maker as a fast fix. 10 new maps all made by the community? This maps where playable before the update if players hosted there own server. I think ALL 10 maps where available before the update hit. And at least 1 of the VHS map. That is over 70% of the maps being over 3 years old. Tiny rock. Added to TF2 for VSH game mode. It seems to have been a payload arena map. Yes 2 game modes in one! It was a map made by the people that made VSH game mode btw. I'm sure only one of the maps of the 14 was made after Vavle asked for it.
Really shows how deep the standards have drowned that people are saying that 14 maps, which could have been added overnight randomly with zero issues, and a fully fleshed out, playable-on-community-servers gamemode being added to the list of gamemodes is an update. I seriously do not believe that some of these people even play any game other than tf2, how delusional does one have to be to think of this as an update?
