Yet Another "Michael Jordan is the Biggest Jerk Story" - Chamillionaire 

being a good athlete doesn't make you a good person.

You can tell this story is legit by the way he tells it. Doesn't sound salty or nothing, just disappointed.

I learned first hand that that a lot of these famous people are jerks....

I believe Chamillionaire. I remember when I played for Walton High School Basketball Team in the Bronx, me and my friend Lamont Middleton who graduated from Walton High School a couple years before that was playing for St John's at that time. He used to get me in for free at all of the Knicks games because they used to play at Madison Square Garden sometimes. Lamont calls me and says to me that the Bulls are coming in and if I wanted to meet Michael Jordan I had to come to the Garden at around 4pm for shootarounds. I was like hell yeah. So me, Lamont and Malik Sealy (May God Bless my brother Malik) went to shootarounds. We got there at 3:30pm and as we were walking through the tunnel I heard someone cursing like a damn sailor at Bill Cartwright. This person was saying that now he knows why Bill wore a Goatee because he looked like a Goat. He said to Bill that if he passes him the ball he'd better not sell out (New York City slang for fucking up the pass). He said that if he didn't at least get a double double he had better get his agent on the line because there's gonna be an opening for a Center in Chicago. When I peeked in the locker room Michael was standing over Bill and berating him. It looked like Bill was either crying or was getting ready to. Malik said to me that he wasn't going in there and if I was then he was going to wait outside. We all walked to the Knicks locker room and we had fun and they made sure we didn't pay for food during the game. I'll never forget that day as long as I live. Sadly the Knicks lost 96-90 in a close one. Jordan had 36 points, Patrick Ewing had a monster game 31 points 18 rebounds and John Starks had 28 points and 10 assists. Pippen had 27 points if memory serves me. Bill Cartwright had 2 points. Michael Jordan is a certified asshole.

I worked at a private golf course Michael use to frequent when I was a kid. The irony was this was a white's only golf club, but Michael was the only black guy that could come in without a member and play. A friend of mine was one of the top caddies, and got to caddie for Michael one round. After 18 holes in 90+ degree weather, he didn't tip my friend. He took the score card and signed it and handed to him, saying "getting to caddie for Michael Jordan is payment enough".

I'll never forget when I was at a Louisville basketball game and chamillionaire was sitting sideline and introduced at the game (was during the Ridin Dirty days). My fiancé at the time and I ran to his section all the way to the sideline to get his attention. We finally did. We asked if we could get a picture and one of Chamillionaires guys was going to take the picture. TV timeout buzzer sounds and we still haven't gotten the picture. We can't stay there so they told us where to meet him after. Once the game was over we go to the spot. People start rushing chamillionaire and they start to avoid the crowd. I'm probably the most anxious and he sees me and my fiancé. "They coo" he said "but just them". We didn't get pic but I shook his hand and got an autograph from him. Never will forget that and what he said about that in this video I will stand by that. Truly a stand up guy, wish he'd release more music tho!

It sucks when someone you look up to turns out to be a jerk. When I was 14yo the Pittsburgh Steelers came to Penn Trafford high school (my high school) to practice for a day during training camp. This is before social media so there were only a few people there that had found out they were practicing there. So I wait the few hours that they practiced and when they're leaving the field I walk up the the gate right beside Jerome Bettis (keep in mind I'm wearing his jersey) and I say" Jerome you're my favorite player could I get an autograph?" and he turns and says: "I don't sign autographs leave me the fuck alone". I was crushed. But Heinz Ward (who was standing next to him) gave him this crazy look,then took off his receivers gloves autographed them and gave them to me. Heinz Ward will forever be my favorite player! Fuck the bus.

The Bible talks about "the deceitfulness of riches" how when you become wealthy you stop thinking of yourself as a regular human being and begin to believe you are something more. It messes with your mind. It is a test of your character to be able to receive wealth and still remain humble. What most people sometimes fail to realize is that these people are no different than you and I. They were simply blessed with more.

Its so sad to hear this. Like you I've heard the rumors. Growing up Michael Jordan inspired me to play the game. My room was covered in posters. This might sound really corny but when I was in 8th grade I actually had a dream that Michael came to my house and played a pick up game with me in my driveway. At the end of the game he gave me an autograph. I remember waking up being so excited because I thought that the dream was real. Its a shame that his money has turned him into a Scrooge:(

These stories don't even compare to the VEGAS stories about Michael Jordan. I've heard many stories of him being the rudest high roller player (with his whole crew) to the dealers and craps-table staff. Also, one dealer who wouldn't tell me the specifics simply said he knows enough stories from VIP cocktail waitresses, staff, and escorts that make TIGER WOODS look like kindergarten. In fact, the casino bonded him (I'm sure because they are in bed with Jordan) not being legally allow to talk.

Michael Jordan is a huge disappointment! You have to treat your fans good. I had heard this story before.

His asshole persona was confirmed in the Last Dance. One reason why Scottie kinda has some animosity towards MJ is how he treated the squad and members of the Bulls organization during their championship years.

Let’s be honest, this is not hard to believe at all. Seeing this video for the first time really puts a lot of things in perspective for me when it comes to MJ. Now it’s clear why he completely ignores the fact that these young Black Princes and Kings be fighting and killing each other over his shoes that they can’t even afford. It’s clear why you never hear about him giving back to the community. He just sees us as a bunch of niggas that’s stupid enough to fight and kill over his products, and waste rent and bill money buying his shoes.

Man, this story is very disappointing to hear. I have always looked up to Mike, always thought of him as a wonderful person that was great to be around. I mean, he worked hard to get where he. So, I was thinking that even with all the accomplishments that he has, that he was still a kind, down to earth person. But, this story says otherwise, that he is a jerk. I now see why the Wizards were glad to get rid of him. Heck, I bet he was an asshole to play with. Sad:(

I was never fan of jordan shoes except the 11's. I was never a bulls fan. I personally collect Air Jordan shoes because of fashion & late 80s/early 90s nostalgia. & I get black & Dominican cats gimme looks about me purchasing multiple shoes at times. Chamillionaire is cool, and me knowing the type of cool has got me believing this, because he's the good kind of cool. It seems like Michael Jordan has got an evil attitude and that big rumor about his super selfishness, I can see more. His image is his image, but it's all about character, and I don't know if because his father dying, it could've just really threw him off to his worst to this day so . . .. Well, if I ever care to say anything to Michael Jordan, I will treat him like we're equals and not praise him, and if he gets an attitude that with anybody isn't right to have, I will say my words of what was right or wrong and let that put him in his place so he knows he doesn't have the power he thinks he has because freedom of expression is always free and not just for him.

I’m NOT a judge or jury, but this video makes him look bad here. That being said, Jordan has a very good public relations team. Most likely they will tell him to stay silent. This is probably why he doesn’t have social media. However, being silent in this situation only incriminates him even more. I’m pretty sure that people who specialise in public relations tell their clients to stay silent in hopes that, any situation that their client is involved in that looks bad, will disappear. There’s also a video on RU-vid that shows Jordan refusing to take a pic with some kids who are his fans and that also makes him look bad. I realize that celebrities need to watch out for people who harass them but this was only 2 kids. Just remember that, usually, anybody who stays silent has something to hide.

Well, I've gained respect for Chamillionaire because he's well spoken and seems kind, judging only from his name I wouldn't have expected it. I believe him totally. MJ's gambling problems and rude behavior come from an unhappy person inside, money =/ happiness.

Michael is still my boyhood superhero....the only 3 athletes I ever looked up to as heroes were MJ, The Rock, and Muhammad Ali....the rest are just whatever....sorry Chamillionaire....still love Michael Jordan....but sorry to hear what you went through !!!!!
