Another weekend and yet another visiting locomotive working on the Eastleigh Lakeside Railway on Saturday 6th & Sunday 7th July 2024.
This time it was 7-1/4 inch gauge Freelance 2-6-2 No.2 "Peter H." from a private miniature railway in Cornwall, working the Main Service with L&BR 'Manning-Wardle' 2-6-2T No.761 "Taw" & 1000-class 'Bullock' 4-6-2 No.1001 "The Monarch" operating the Secondary Service on the Saturday & Sunday respectively.
