Love my Yeti front end! I'd like to get these End Links however, just wondering if I can simply remove them and install or is there anything I need to do prior to installing them? Is there any pressure on the the sway bar, etc. Thanks
Severely delayed in this reply - my apologies. There is nothing special needing to be done to install these. Reach out to us with the contact info on our website or Facebook/Instagram if you have other questions and want quicker feedback.
@@SteerSmarts Thanks for the reply! I've had them installed for awhile. Already installed the front track bar and will be getting the rear at the end of year!
There is nothing about these pieces that should cause a knocking sound. Reach out to info@steersmarts.com with some more explanation and some photos/video of the issue.
@Steer Smarts is there a kit to allow these to be quick disconnects and to also have a bracket to keep them tucked up and out of the way like Teraflex?
There is not a quick disconnect option for these, however, we’ve had a number of people tell us that they like this setup better because it’s easier to reconnect after the fact and it only requires 2x 15mm wrenches and about 5 mins to disconnect or reconnect.
I do not know the exact number of degrees allows by this end link, however, it works very well with the rubicon electronic disconnect, or, if doing hard wheeling without the e-disco you would just remove the fasteners and take the end links off - it’s 2x 15mm wrenches and maybe 5 mins of time. The biggest benefit you’ll see with these is a drastic reduction in body roll on road.
Depends on your setup - they can be very close if the vehicle has a lot of caster and the axle is pushed forward - or if the aftermarket springs are bowing.
@@robertpfeiff5008 None yet. I just checked, I can get my index finger barely between the top of the link and the spring, but no rubbing. I’ve taken it off road a few times also.
@@neil12011 on the passenger side I can just fit my finger behind. Drivers side I can’t fit my finger through. Took it on a test drive and no issues. Looking at it. Yes it’s close but based on the sway bar acting as a drop arm I don’t think it will be an issue. For reference installed alongside a 3in AWV high capacity lift.
