Well said Jerry! Tell me, was the CD you heard of the composer playing this work heavily remastered ? I did hear a recording of Sergei playing his No.3 but it must be over eighty years old and one couldn't get too much past the somewhat muffled tone. This particular you tube performance is so crisp and and as you say,it is a masterly account. I was going through Martha Argerich's postings and she put me on to this young fellow Sudbin. Let's face it ,like you she knows a good artist when she hears one
