This week, Yezidis are gathering at Lalish Temple to celebrate the festival of "Jama," one of the oldest Yezidi holidays. The celebration lasts for an entire week, and ceremonies occur at Lalish Temple, drawing Yezidis from around the world. Jama was halted for years after the Yezidi Genocide in 2014, only to resume in 2018 following the liberation of Yezidi areas.
