You know that logic is flawed? Just think it through. Depending on your age and I am asumming by the statement, young, there are things that make people "happy" in the beginning when it's all shinning and new. Then this thing call "time" happens (also referred to as maturity, waking up, growth, etc.) and you look back with "regret" and wonder why the people who say they care about you didn't warn you, help you...protect you from yourself? Well if they tried, good for them. If they didn't and they just sat back and said "just let her be happy for now".
