+controllerplayz Make sure that you set the focus correctly. Move the black knob next to the lens up and down until the picture is sharper. When you see small squares (pixels) in the picture, you reached the maximum sharpness. Please note that the projector has a resolution of 320 x 240 pixels, which is super low (a phone's display has at least 1920 x 1080 pixels), so you can actually never get a good picture. Also, make sure to use the 12V power adaptor, NOT the USB port! Otherwise the projector is too dark. Finally, I suggest you to clean the lens and check if your projector is too far from or too close to the wall. It works best within a range of 2m - 6m. Did this help? :-)

i plugged in the projector to the wall through the micro sd card slot, now when i plug it in using the given power charger, the power button light does not turn on, my best guess is that i over votled it. Is there a battery i can change or did i fry the whole circuit.

Well its not a kill in his hands, he probably put it back. Am i the only one having troble with the battery. I came here to see if there is A battery pri-installed in my projector, i am using the micro on the back to charge and still waiting. Any ideas.

Lukoshkin Sasha . You can check the weight, the mine is without battery and it is around 246g. I also disassembled it to check if is possible to add a battery. But i don’t have the skill to do it.

@@redeclipseprojects9746 Hey, I just got the projector and also having issues charging the battery. The box and the manual says that it has a rechargeable battery and that you need to charge it in the microUSB port with the small switch under the power cable port in the "ON" position. Please help.

I came here for the same reason as all-in z, I just didn't want to destroy my only projector... There are projectors with and without a battery and mine came without any mark at all. The manual is a universal one, but I read on the internet that the USB power jack is rather meant for emergencies and may not provide the projector with enough power. So, if you have problems, maybe it might help to switch the projector off while charging or connecting it to a 12V power supply. I can't check this (my projector doesn't have a working battery built in), but I hope it helps you! :-)

Most likely you just need to find the right one that fits the long thingy for the ribbon cable

Try DIY Led parts and let's see if does upgrade the image quality.

You can change the cooler or turn on a fan to it.

+Kathy Santos What do you use to power up the projector? I don't know your version (there are many types of YG300 projectors and most of them don't even have a red lamp), but it could be a problem with the power supply. Please try switching the little switch on the projector's left side on and off, remove the power plug and re-insert it afterwards. You can also try multiple power adaptors, any USB charger or 12V adaptor should work (as long as the connector isn't too large or too small). If it still doesn't turn on, no matter what power supply you use and in which position the little switch is, the projector may need a repair.

Click the second arrow under the play button it’ll turn the light green and it’ll show up

Before opening the projector, please try connecting and disconnecting some headphones, this is a common problem that small devices can have... Also, make sure that you have tried at least one digital source (HDMI, USB, microSD - *not* AV in!), that the volume is turned up loud enough and that the projector isn't muted (you need the remote control for this). And if you really want to change something inside the projector, all you can do is replacing the speaker which is at the front of the black plastic part and has a red and a black wire. I don't recommend that though. I hope this helps! :-)

This is probably the internal LCD panel or its cable. I don't know any way to fix this though, except for replacing it...

This is not a battery type. .but I guess something there are have a built in battery
