yge has beef with mama/mnet(the award show and the tv program) they always mistreating yg artists that's why yge stopped sending their artists to mcountdown or any mnet related show. they also rigged some awards from yge artists and gave those awards to other nominees just because those yg artists didn't attend their award show. in 2016,blackpink is the only rookie group who made noise and made a lot of achievements both globally and locally but they didn't gave blackpink the "rookie of the year award". also back in 2017 i guess, they put red on blackpink members faces which means death in korea. that's why yge didn't even let blackpink step their feet on that award show. one of the iconic moments was when blackpink did a same concert on the same day of mama award show with more capacity of audience than mama that had more than 10 groups/artists who attended. after yge boycotted mama and mnet, their ratings went down cause only yge artists can make any stage looks like a concert that's why every kpop stans loves to watch and always looking forward to their performances. i guess they're already in a good terms now since treasure and somi is promoting in mcountdown. dispatch (korean paparazzi entertainment/news spreader) always targeting yg artists that's why yg artists also always dissing them. dispatch are all eyes on every yg artists move especially before, they kinda also invading some yg artists privacy by revealing pictures etc.
YG family is and has always been like the Cool guys club in school lol. All yg artists have such strong talent, natural swag and intimidating aura. Been like this since forever and other celebs know this. It’s even hard to even become a trainee in YG, not to mention debut. Should definitely check out YG family concert!
