Fun fact: the game got so packed cuz rumor had it yg was showing up and it was so packed that they sold out tickets and didn't let anyone back in after they left
I ref high school b-ball and I tend to notice the better athletic teams are usually more aggressive too. Rack up fouls quick like the block all ball up top but contact everywhere below the ball. But 100% agree on the old refs overweight to.
Damn, I feel stupid. I thought you meant like somewhere on the court was rocking that Kobe/Kyrie/LeBron face mask. I thought shit was about to get real.
@@noodlesbro2874 we live in America so you have your opinion and I have mine, we can agree to disagree on the call, but as a star of your team and a close game , why the heck would you risk reaching in.
I remember getting black balled by the reff's when I was in high school playing basketball its really degrading and then having to face a loss after really put the dagger in the heart. It just brought back old memories when I used to play ball as kid.
He slid the back foot, which means both feet were on the ground and a pivot foot was already established. (You have to stay in a running form with your 2 steps, which means 1 foot a time) Good Call by the ref
Simple, for most "the love of the game". Many officials have primary jobs or other professions they go to. Many have years if not a decade or two of experence, and study hard to excell at their craft. And some are just lazy and want "the check". I have refereed for over 27 years, (32 overall counting my years in the US Army reffing intermurral and AAU ball) and this my first season away from the game due to a severe hamstring injury. Cant run, cant get into possistion to make the correct call.
@@JohnNelson75025 Only? Sorry to break the news you to, geezer, but 53 is old as shit. You're not exactly the definition of young, somebody definitely lied to you.
@@freebandzjin I appreciate your opinion. But one is as old as they feel. I have my health, I do more than some half my age. Outside a blown out Achilles tendon when I was in the Army in '91, no major injuries. I feel great, and most people say I look younger than I am. So it's all relative.
