BLEACH IS BACK!!!!

The ending is NOWHERE near as bad as the OP I promise you. The biggest spoiler in it is Aizen being part of it, which is kind of weird to show seconds before they have the scene of him and Kyoraku after the credits. Other then that there's one tiny thing that as long as you aren't analyzing the video frame by frame you aren't going to catch, especially without context. At worst you should be able to watch it with everything that counts as a "spoiler" being done in the next 1-2 episodes. The OP though is an easy avoid until the cour is over. IDK what the hell they were thinking with that one, especially after how well they masked the spoilers in the previous opening.

Absolutely incredible episode. Everything was so beautiful. Yes, there's a minus point for the recap but it's not Bleach without a recap for the start of the season. That added in anime only scene was chef's kiss. Cannot wait for more

Anime watcher only theory - The order of events shown in the post credits suggests that Kyoraku made it to Aizen before Yhwach stabbed the Soul King. Imagine the next episode starts like this: Aizen - "You think that's the Soul King you're stabbing right now?" Yhwach - "Nani!?" Title Card lol If Yhwach doesn't know he's being influenced by Kyokasuigetsu, then as I understand it, The Almighty shouldn't negate it. Perhaps Kyokasuigetsu can't be negated at all because it technically doesn't harm or kill it's victims directly. Or it's as you said, Yhwach DOES kill the Soul King and Ichigo becomes the new linchpin, then this cour is about the Quincies hunting Ichigo down while everyone else protects him. That'd be fun.
