Amazing finale I can’t wait for the next part also the Auswalen is what killed Ichigo n Uryuu’s mom Bazz B n Liltoto we’re mad because they have not lost yet so they took it as disrespect Yhwach usually absorbs the power once he deems them unworthy or defeated and why y’all don’t like Aizen Bleach fans love him one of the most interesting characters of Bleach n villains
So for context (I'll edit this comment later) this WHOOOOOOLLLEEEEE FIGHT with the Zero Squad and the Elite Sternritter is all new anime stuff added by Kubo. In the manga after Oetsu cuts down the Elites; Yhwach uses Auswhalen, absorbs the power of the Quincy below, and revives the Elites then their fight happens off-screen (whether they won or lost you'll see) and then we get the fight between Yhwach and Ichibe. Very interesting direction they're going
@@chaseowens9627the only reason the manga approach is rough this arc is cuz Kubo got rushed to finish Bleach, so the story got compressed and shortened to fit the Jump timeline and left a lot of story lines unfinished or off screened, this is the chance to make up for all the missed content we lost due to it being rush ended

Rumor is the last episode ran into some production issues, which is why the 4 minute Kon segment was added in. Either way, this episode was going to end on a weird cliff hanger because there is not really a proper stopping point at this point in the story without adding another entire episode.
True, the people in charge of the scheduling messed up, that's why we had 4 minutes of Kon. Yet I prefer this, becasue they could have decided to lower quality in order to make everything fit... Yet the end felt a bit wierd as a consequence when you know what's next, but I guess we will have it in 2024 anyway so...
Senjumaru is Her. Simply, Her. That Bankai of hers was not in the manga; we finally see it in the anime and she is SCARY dawg. I love how the anime really emphasizes how shady and borderline evil Ichibei is specifically and Squad Zero as a whole. I also love how the anime throws in a few moments showing the Sternritter actually caring for each other (Meninas helping Candice, Liltotto saving Giselle, even Giselle cradling Bambietta thinking this is the last time she sees her). The anime also implied that Yhwach actually DIDN'T tell them they'd die if they failed, other than a very select few. That's why Bazz B and the Femritters are so pissed rn

Senjumaru rightly has her level of confidence. Like she heals critical wounds; she kills enemies like it's nothing; and then she releases a Bankai that is terrifying. It definitely continues on the Buddhist vibes Bleach thrives on. We see now why they chose her. Where Squad Zero may be cutthroat in how devoted to their job they are, Ichibe is on a whole other level. Like when even Squad Zero is afraid to say his name and refer to his bloody stench, you know shit is serious.
Like holy hell man this had everything I asked for from last episode Squad Zero given so much dedication and love in the anime. So happy for how much more was shown especially Senjumaru who might be my favourite squad zero member now with her bankai looked beautiful and fantastic. Plus Ichibe's powers and bankai looked dope as hell against Yhwach and the way the finale ended with a Kon vignette funny af. Not to mention Shunsui with Ukitake having that talk and the Auswhalen was devastating and crazy to see animated. I'm so thankful and happy for all the hard work from all the staff that work on TYBW adaption.
After these two episodes I can definitely say my favorite Sternritter and Square Zero member are Senjumaru and Liltotto. What a great way to end this cour, now we wait till 2024😅🎉🔥
We definitely got blue balled with that ending 😩 However it was still amazing! Alot of new content not in the manga like Senjumaru Bankai . Can't wait for next szn!!
17:38 it's funny you say that 👀 it's been teased that they actually do have some kind of connection. In episode 1 of the TYBW arc, you see Squad 12 (Mayuri's Division of Research and Development) mention something called the Shutara Scale, which was named after her, Shutara Senjumaru. Also, when Squad Zero first came down to meet Ichigo and take him to the Soul Palace, Mayuri and Shutara talk to each other as if they have some sort of history after she broke into Mayuri's lab to steal the broken Tensa Zangetsu.
Anime only people might be a little off by 4 min of Kon. Manga readers: I'm too happy at how some of these fights got re-written. Everyone hated how it was done in the manga, it gives me the utmost hope for the final fights that felt rushed in the manga!
The 4 minute of Kon brings back nostalgia of the Shinigami Illustrated segment, also some comedic scenes from the manga that was offed on the anima made in that segment.
Take it from a Manga Reader, the cut off makes a lot of sense if they want to add certain scenes to the beginning of cour 3. The 4 Kon minutes are result of production problems though, so while I think the last scene was supposed to be the one we got, there could have been more content planned that we didn't get because they couldn't make it in time.
This was just about the best adaptation we could've gotten, Squad Zero were killed offscreen in the manga, they were a complete joke after being hyped up from basically the start of the series The fact that not only did Senjumaru body the Schutzstaffel but the rest of squad zero wasn't anywhere near full strength because their powers are sealed is WILD absolutely incredible 2 episodes, I had some issues with this cour but they absolutely nailed the most important part for me
x axis powers allows him to instanteous pierce anything in line of sight regardless of walls or durability nimaya was thinking the piercing would hit him and yuha but x axis explains his powers doesnt have travel distance it just pierces whatever he deems a target askin can turn any substance toxin or fatal such as blood, resihi, water etc and the reason why aksin surivived nimaya one hit sword powers was because he became immune to the power this is the simplest ways to explain it without being overly complicated thor and midget powers are still a mystery
I’m pretty sure none of the Quincy know what aushwahlen is except for the older ones. When Jugram talked to uryu he seemed to imply that is something only a select few know about.

No hate to Mehgan, but real warfare has a back and fourth all the times. Like does she want one side to be one shotting the other? That would be not fight or tension. Tension is made by fights having ups and downs for both sides.
In warefare the reason there is back and forth is because there are battles lost and battles won. You don’t have one side die, come back to life, and kill the enemy repeatedly in the same battle. Her criticism was more than valid. Such a horrible comparison.

Tbh Gerad still does that's why I respect him tbh he's kinda useless in this scenario overall though but he really shines in later battles he's kinda like Kenpachi where its a straightforward battle you can count on them

It's also interesting to see the duality between Quincies and Shinigami. Yhwach gave Quincies their power and uses the fact that he can take them anytime to control them in an authoritative way while Sqaud Zero basically gave every shinigami their power but allows them to own these powers and shinigami seem mostly oblivious to how important Squad Zero are to them. Yhwach forcefully takes their power and kills them vs Squad Zero who willingly laid down their lives for one of them to power up. Even the fact that Squad Zero chose to limit their power and seal eachothers swords with their lives (which answered the question as to why they seem to hold back on using their swords) while the Quincies just run a muck with their abilities. But then you have the bigger picture where Yhwach wants complete freedom as his end goal while the shinigami want balance. I like how you can find fault and merit with either of the groups, it's not a simple good vs bad.
I feel you about that late bit of back and forth between the royal guards and squad zero. And they could have easily avoided evoking this feeling if they simply made the squad zero re-group at the end (before they get beaten the final time and they self-sacrifice) and have them quickly talk about how its becoming impossible to defeat them and have them break that blood seal. That way, we wont have to see them getting beaten again, have them acknolwdge the powers of the quincy invading, and actually get the exposition too about how they can't be left without the blood seal since it could harm the three realms. But they chose the route of "Hah you thought this was it! No!" lol. Oh well, its still amazing what we got in the end afterall. That final Bankai was so exquisite just like Shutara herself.
In manga most things happens off screen so there was big complaint about how big let down 0 squad was. So Kubo created all this new content to show us how awesome squad 0 really is. If you are a new casual fan of bleach , you probably won't care about squad 0 , so ya I understand this will be just good enough. But for us fans who have wated for squad 0 for years, best episodes ever. & the reason they stopped the anime at that point is for us to rave about & savour the epicenes of squad 0 & Senjumaru for a year.😉 We 100% appreciate Kubo's decision.
They’re more powerful than the whole of the gotei 13. One captain is more powerful than all of the captains combined. This is what they’ve literary said, multiple times, so obviously they would have more up their sleeves.
They even explain how they have a blood oath that sealed away their true swords so they can't use their bankai's that literally shake all three worlds lol reactors struggle with information retention
Yea the ending was awkward because they had production issues . The original episode was titled “A” which was obviously going to reveal the power of yhwach but then was changed to “ Black”.Even though they had bts issues they delivered on the most beautiful bankai I’ve seen. Hopefully they get more time to animate cour 3.
Don't forget that The Zero Squad members each of them is at least 3 times stronger than Yama-Jii & they would've clapped Aizen if he showed up to the soul palace during the fkt arc.

These episodes were really fucking cool! I was not expecting to see a Squad Zero Bankai. I love that! I hope we see the others too. I know they’re technically dead and they’ll be revived by Ichibē but you never know in Bleach. I love that Askin’s Vollständig looks like molecules, Pernida’s looks like hands, and Gerard’s very literal Valkyrie wings. The only one I don’t like is Lille’s, which just looks like shot-up pieces of metal. I hope that scene with Ukitake means we will get a Ukitake fight. I guess Robert’s not getting a splash screen because he is in the death album. That’s really annoying. He’s the only one we don’t get. But as I said, you can never know until you see a body.
So the thing is the "ideal" stopping point would have meant removing a lot of the anime original content for Squad Zero, and yes, outside of Nimaiya vs Askin in episode 25, almost EVERYTHING there was anime original. So unfortunately, we ended up with a rather weird cliffhanger, but I can only hope the premiere of cour 3 is top notch and they adapt the rest very well. As for the Kon stuff, the 2 scenes they used there were actually scenes the anime didn't adapt, so because of that, I kind of don't mind that it exists.
They did Justice to the Zero Squad, in the manga are destroyed off screen and here they show how powerful can be, specially Senjumaru Bankai to bodied all Royal Guard and Ichibei making Ywatch a Black Ant.
I understand the feeling of the back and forth being too much at times but seeing as how the manga treated Squad 0 this was honestly perfect. I mean 2 strong groups going at it, it won’t be one sided. If squad 0 or the royal guards got no diffed that would’ve been boring. Rather than having them die instantly both sides fought hard
i think its pretty likely they had problems with this season which is why the season ended there. All the leaks and info we got prior to this point suggested they were going to go further this season. But they've had production issues throughout and they keep dropping these at the same time that other huge shows like JJK are airing and those shows suck up all the animation talent. Pierrot doesn't have a good reputation so of course animators would prioritize working elsewhere than here. So they changed plan at some point to only go this far since they couldn't do justice to the rest and are leaving it for later. Its a very strange place to end if you know what happens later. Everything in these 2 episodes except a few things like ichibei vs yhwach and the auswahlen is anime only content. They have so few episodes to work with its a miracle they added as much as they did. It bothers me in other places but the swingy nature of the fights didn't bug me one bit here i thought it was fantastic.
Power scaling is getting under the loop in these new anime segments finally. Cause I was sick of people saying Haschwalth and Uryu are super strong and placing them near the top of those dumb "top 10 lists" you see every other day. They got rekt easily. I always said you cant Balance attack that one shots you. Like how Uryu used his power to do nothing lol. Royal Guard is super strong. And now we know they are sealing their power to just be able to function in context of 3 worlds. How the fuck Aizen though to go out there and win is beyond me. I think he probably considered them just as very strong Captains cause in the Pendulum arc we see he is not so informed on events when it comes to Royal Guard. No reason to believe he had some acquired some data on them before or after the events of that arc. Guess he was gonna put all his cards on HG power to evolve him.

I would definitely say they're in the top 10 the elite sternitter are stronger than every good guy in the show other than squad 0 and even then Askin was about to beat Oetsu 1v1 and Jugaram/Uryu are supposed to be stronger than them

I agree. Yhwach is more interesting to watch because you're never actually sure what he's going to do. He keeps his plays close to the chest. Aizen... every time you saw him you knew he was going to give a lecture about how great he was and would always win and it's just lame. With Yhwach, there's actually dynamism. Also, he looks and sounds cooler. And has more interesting powers than "Oops, I win because you were attacking air."
Naw this is how bleach ends, and now we’re jumping into CFYOW, the Light Novel sequel and also WE DO knot ALWAYS LOVE YOU another LN Spin off. I’m glad the anime covered the manga entirely with a few cuts and expansions in between.
everybody felt the same way about cour 2 ending the cliffhanger isn't neccessarily good you dont have to be a manga reader to know that yuha nor his crew are dead especially since the trailer for cour 3 shows them fully and the main characters still haven't fought at all yet so the ending placment defientely feels more anticlimatic they should have finish the fight in full before ending cour 2 since this is the biggest fight of this part in the arc

Yeah, not letting "defeats" do their job ruins the physical stakes and sometimes emotional stakes too. Flat out. Just a swing and a miss on any story imo. Its how we gauge the weight of narrative. But you can have layers and bleach's world still allows for philosphical stakes with the question of are quincies bad for the way the system works. It holds you there. That being said, art and vibe and all that still is also a big part of the exeprience and Bleach swags and vibes harder than most. Im anime only though so no idea where it's going and i somehow expect aizen to be relevent 😂
