Happy new year Matt and team, nice to see another video over the Christmas period, you have been working hard, I think you are correct Matt this gun is a little of a miss match defiantly did not need ventilated barrels but then I might just be being picky love the case though that's got to be worth something considering the price point of the gun

Happy New Year Matt and all at Premier Guns. I bought my wife a 20 bore Yildiz Pro Black. My wife is not very tall and Matt spent a lot of time and effort getting the Stock right. It had to be cut down to thirteen and a quarter inches, and had an adjustable comb fitted. A Kick- Eez pad was also fitted. I also have one for myself in 20 bore and 12 bore. Bang for Buck? I think that they are currently the best value for money shotgun on the market today. Premier Guns? Very impressive and knowledgeable, and will go to great lengths to get things as perfect as possible, rather than just, sell you a gun. Well done everyone.

Hello Matt, What can I say…..another excellent review of the Yildiz Pro! I live in South Carolina, here in the USA and I bought a Yildiz Pro in 20 bore back in November from a dealer in North Carolina. My gun also has 32” barrels with Grade 4 furniture as well but I have an adjustable comb as standard configuration. I know that wood density will determine the overall weight of a shotgun and mine comes in at 8lbs, 4 ounces. The balance and point -ability is superb and my gun balances right on the hinge pin! I find that the recoil pad is perfectly fine and does not drag on clothing and I shoot FITASC competitively with this shotgun. As far as chokes mine came with 5 Extended chokes ( SK, IC, MOD, IM MOD, & FULL) I paid $4,000 (£3,300) for my gun and it is a great value for what you get. I have to mention that I own TWO other Yildiz Pro’s, both are 12 bore with Grade 7-8 furniture and one has Blued action and the other is engraved (hand done in Turkey). All of these guns are my “go to guns” for competition sporting events!

Thank you for your comment. Absolutely superb guns and very understated. We now have Teague chokes to fit also. Kind regards, Matt

A silvers pad would look nice, I agree with you, I hate that forend! Shame they don't make a ribless option?

Just an observation, the skylight behind you is making the foreground quite dark and hard to see the gun itself. Nice review all in all. Happy new year.

I thought i'd stumbled on a game show where you're not allowed to mention an Italian gun manufacturer. Just kidding! Another top presentation from you guys at PG. Happy New Year to you all.

I had a go at a Yildiz 20g a couple of weeks back and enjoyed it... It would be nice if they could work on the trigger unit a little more than what it is but end of the day for the current price you can't beat it.

Another great video. May I ask where you got that vest from? I have searched the internet and can't seem to find anything like it. Happy New Year, CHEERS.

I’d agree on the pad comb height and mid rib and forend I’d love one of those for sim days or game shooting a wider rib say 10mm parallel would be nice too

I have one Roy. I have shot both clays, and game with it. Until I had this one, I had no experience of a 20 bore. I was amazed how far you can hit Pheasants and Partridge with a Fiocchi 30 gram 5. I would say it is easily as effective as the 12 bore. What is so impressive about the Yildiz 20 bore for me, is how easy it is to move in the hand, weather it's because its narrower than the 12 bore maybe, when shooting a pair?

I found your review on the 12 gauge pro to be confusing- you contradicted yourself saying it's nothing like a perazzi then saying it's just like one, i've been around these guns for going on 5 years now, seen them shoot 10s of thousands with no issues, they are mechanically every bit as good as the gun they copied, which should be no surprise considering the steel quality used, then design and being cut on the best cnc machines available, they are a less outwardly finished mx12, best gun for the money alongside a miroku grade 3 imo
@kylesullivan3114
@kylesullivan3114 Год назад
Is there a Turkish manufacturer that is close to the browning miruku combe height that you could recommend?

For me and a lot of others that I know, Yildiz is still a bit of an unknown quantity, I think a good analogy is to say they are like Skodas were 20 years ago. Having shot a 12G, I can't fault how they shoot, great wood and good finish. The only thing I don't like is the plain action. Just having the engraving with a bit of gold or something, would lift it for me.

Using 3 inch magnum 20 gauge TSS loads the 20 gauge can take the largest waterfowl at long range and Sandhill cranes. And turkey at 60 yards. Why use a 12 gauge if you can use TSS tungsten shot?

I like your channel, but come on!!!!! The quality of workmanship , metal quality, quality control . Your making it seem like the guns are the same but because of labor cost they sell them cheaper. That's misleading.
@fullchoke01
@fullchoke01 Год назад
The pro is made from the same steels cut on the same machines to the exact same tolerances, hence why places like coker in the states are selling so many pro barrel sets for people who have worn out perazzi barrels, besides the man hours finishing externally zero difference, go find stories of pro's going wrong!

@@bentleyfatheree1616 i would wager you haven't been anywhere near a yildiz pro or know anything about how they are made! and you are another who thinks perazzi own some magic store of materials/machines lol, yilidz bout japanese/german cnc machines the same ones everyone else uses, they also are using the same italian steel, look into it rather than just having a high horse attitide, this stuff isn't hard to find, 👏👏👏👏
@bentleyfatheree1616
@bentleyfatheree1616 Год назад
@@fullchoke01 1st I don't own a Perazzi and I'm not a Perazzi fan boy , 2nd I have been around a Yildiz pro. Sounds like you have no ideal how steel is made , just because it comes from the same country doesn't mean it's the same . You can have 100 different types of steel come form one foundry, it depends on what the customer orders. So all steel from Italy is the same ? No way no even close. Different alloys for each customer. Go ahead and do me where Yildz puts the same attention to detail when making a Pro that Perazzi does. Ok they bought CNC machines WOW!!!!! Really. Perazzi is the Superior gun. I didn't say the Pro was junk , but compared to my DT 11 they are. Lol.
@fullchoke01
@fullchoke01 Год назад
@@bentleyfatheree1616 like i said you have no idea what you are talking about and that line about cnc machines prove it, go look for the type of steel imported and what makeup it has before you dribble more, and they are cut on the same machines, but somehow to people like you that means it's impossible to reproduce a gun to the exact same tolerances, go find me stories of yildiz pro issues in what 8 years prodiction , just another hero who thinks his gun is untouchable, oh and another turk brand has just copied the dt11 down to a tee so get ready to be even more of a sourhead
