this was my favorite episode of Take 1! I cried so much that I couldn't breathe properly! I'm so happy that Lim Jaebum found the courage to pick up the mic after so many years! wishing nothing but the best for him and his daughter!💗

So,this man,after living through deepest sorrows and the darkest hours of his life,after a 6 years absence from his own life ,picks up the mic and sings like he didn't miss a day at rehearsal??!!Are you kidding me?His talent is out of this world. Mind blowing!My favourite ep so far .Hope for the best !

I first got to know him here on take 1. I have now downloaded most of his songs. His voice is so different, so soothing. I listen to him every day.

This was the most emotional and simple but powerful and humbling performance. So much pain in his voice. I don’t know him from USA but now a fan. His daughter should be mighty proud of him. RAIN episode was great too. He was so committed and passionate. MAMAMOO was the weakest . They spent too much time on changing costume.

It crushed my heart watching this episode. No matter what is going thru our lives right now. Somehow we will find our courage to keep going😢

잔잔한 감동 ..눈물났어요.

I watched Take 1for Akmu. But his, Hee yeol and Rain's episodes have been my favorites...with his, its the voice and emotional backstory that got me; for Rain, its the determination, creativity and amazing performance and for Hee yeol...its the reflective nature of the episode and just its overall atmosphere. It felt like a warm hug.

Your voice...I didn't understand a word you sang ( had to read subtitles). Your voice moved me. One of the greatest vocalists I have ever heard!!!

Since I watched this, I have been obsessing with him for about 2 wks now, listening to his songs, watching him almost everyday here in YT. When I saw this series, I instinctively chose to watch his episode first and It turned out he was the one who sung ‘Stigma’, the OST of Slave Hunters, one of my favorite Kdramas. When I heard that song played at the end of ep 1, I was touched to the core by his soulful voice even if I didn’t understand the lyrics. As they said, his voice is unbelievably poignant. His version of Desperado blew me away. I wish him well, may he find joy again and continue to inspire more people with his music.

My favorite episode of Take 1 on Netflix. What a legend. His voice, heart and mission is extremely impactful. He is more than a pure soul and an incredible singer; because he is also a Transformational artist! His episode was extremely inspiring and am sure it impacted so many across the world ! I rarely will comment anything in youtube, but this is the best episode for Take 1. He is so down to earth person despite how long his seniority in Korea. His choice of song and his voice is so soothing. I really hope one day i can meet him in person 😊.

What this gentleman presents is a real music - talent, emotions and a real life story that is no longer available in today's world. Now all these glamour effects and naked bodies on a stage have pushed what is the most important at the end. His performance touched me a lot. The most beautiful episode of this show.

I watched the whole series with different singers & groups. I then downloaded his music and have really enjoyed getting to know this singer through his music. I feel so bad for this legend. It all started when his wife had cancer, that's when his outburst to music happened and he released plenty of hit songs but after she passed away, he just went MIA. He'll come occasionally for the sake of his fans and disappear again because of how he has this love and hate relationship with music. Nevertheless he's the rock tiger of SK.

Easily my favorite episode. Korea has so many legendary musicians outside of Kpop. I hope there's a Season 2 with Kim Gun Mo.

To me this and the opera singer's are the only episodes of Take 1 to watch. All the other k-pop stars appear to be so selfish and self-centered about the performances they made. This and the other one showed how mature they were as performers and considered who to perform to and why.

Ahora mismo estoy cerrando el duelo más doloroso el de mi esposo y me quedé sola porque no tuvimos hijos,a pesar que somos adultos,tu tienes a tu pequeña hija si estuviera en tu país le diría a tu hija que su Padre ,es una persona muy especial lo digo por esa canción que cantante y pude ver la traducción y todo lo que dice,es como una declaración al amor ,no te desanimes sigue adelante ahora he comenzado a escuchar tus canciones por youtube son muy bellas sobre todo aquella que quieres volar al cielo,no bajes los brazos si me permite voy a pedir a Dios y a Nuestra Santísima te ácrisie el alma o tú corazón espero que no le moleste Gracias por el ejemplo de humildad.

I know exactly how he feels, people tells me that I have a good voice, But It is so hard to explain that when this fear takes control of you You can't breathe properly and you sing out of key, I use to tell myself ,So what if people think that you stunk just ignore them and what they think, But it's just Not that easy, When I try to record myself to put it on RU-vid, Just knowing that someone is gonna listen, The fear takes over and when I stop recording it sounds so good, And I would tell myself I wish I did record that, Put the recorder on again and it goes bad again, When I'm singing without recording I like how I sound until when I record it and listen back to myself, And it completely irritates me , I hates how I sound, breathy nasal, What can I do? I'm stuck with me.
