I love how "Yippee Ki Yay" is a pop culture reference in Die Hard itself. McClane is quoting Roy Rogers, a famous cowboy actor from the 40s and 50s, who used the phrase "yippee ki yay" (without the motherfucker bit). But because of Die Hard's success, most people don't realise this, and the original version has been largely forgotten (even though McClane references Roy Rogers just before he says the line). It's a bit like "Here's Johnny" - everyone knows it from The Shining, but it was originally the opening to the old TV show "The Johnny Carson Show".

@@heinzdoofenshmirtz8643 Hell, I did an version of that scene but for Vegeta and Lynn. But, for my version, both Vegeta and Lynn were saying that; Lynn being the one keeping the line like she originally said while Vegeta was saying it like how it should be said, swearing and all.

Rambo references Ever seen the Family Guy episode where Lois gears up to stop Stewie? Suburban Commando- “How the hell was I supposed to know you were some alien Rambo with psycho enemies?” Remember Hot Shot Part Deux? They did a spoof of the Rambo franchise that’s set during Desert Storm and where Charlie Sheen uses a chicken as an arrow.
Funniest one: Brad Loekle (commenting on a clerk fighting back against a robber armed with a shotgun): He became like the Bruce Willis of convenience stores. It's like _Die Hard at the 7/11_ Guy who does the dubbing: (says this iconic line as the fight continues)
