I have a theory that "Kiss the rain" means the feeling when your tears fall down from your eyes to your lips where the tears resemble rain and when it falls on your lips its like kissing the rain

I lost my son last year. It has been hard to mourn when my other kids depend on me to be strong. Listening to this the tears flow as I close my eyes and relive the years I was so lucky to be his mother. Thank you.

He said this melody came upon him while he was crossing the Waterloo bridge on a rainly day, when he was a student in London. He always introduce himself as a composer, not a good pianist, but I think he's the best pianist when he delivers his own music.

My mom died in 2011. I was 21. She had a heart attack while sleeping. I still have the nokia 2700 phone that she bought for me because it still have all of her texts for me. Until that night when she died. Her motivational text for me is still there when I first applied for a job. Until now, I still regret not having a chance to give her my very first own earned money. The day she died was when the letter from our government arrived stating that I passed the nursing board exam. I am at least thankful that we already knew of this news from the net few months prior. But she was still waiting for that letter. I miss you mom. I still grieve to this day.

My Son Mikeal Died Oct 21, 2019. After his passing, this song came on by itself at 3:42 a.m., waking me me up. It's not downloaded to my cell, no open apps, nothing, I get scared. Then cry more over my sons loss. Mikeal never played this way on a piano but did try. Not this song or music ever. But it just plays on my cell. 😢😢 I love this song. Thank you, My Beautiful Son in Heaven, for sending this song to me to comfort my broken heart 💔

After my father died I heard this song........ I practiced it and I made it perfect..... One day our class was about piano and our teacher said who knows how to play.... My classmates were laughing while I'm about to play this song..... When I played it almost all of them cried...... and also me..... I remembered my father while I'm playing it... my grandfather died and this song makes me think of me I used to go to his house a lot and scream "Grandaddy!" I loved staying at his house when I was younger but as I got into school I never saw him often but he still came over and made me smile like he always did I remember when I was in about 1st grade my mom sat us down in her room and told us he passed away in the hospital I fell to the floor my grandfather I just saw in the hospital dead I remember at his funeral I said a little poem on how much I loved him but he will always be in my heart as the best grandfather ever and if you see this from Heaven I love you so much ALWAYS LOVE YOUR FAMILY BECAUSE YOU NEVER KNOW WHEN THEY WILL LEAVE YOU

I learned this song when I found out that my Grandmother was gonna be put under hospice care... the last few times trying to practice, I couldn't get through the whole song without crying my eyes out. It was like every note I played reminded me of her and that she is eventually gonna leave us... she's still fighting and I think the Lord is gonna grant my dad's wish for her to still be alive for his birthday tomorrow... but yeah this song just really gives me the feels full force when I play it or when Yiruma plays it. This song is my theme for her.. I'm praying for you

When my son was a baby, his cradle included a toy that played different songs, and Kiss the rain was my favorite.... i didn´t know the name of this piece but when I heard it again I can´t stop crying 🤧 such beautiful memories... my son is 8 now 🤍

Berturut-turut negeri Pertiwi kita diterpa dengan berbagai cobaan dan rintangan hidup. Mulai dari erupsi gunung hingga gempa disertai sunami. Hari ini pula, kita memperingati kematian puluhan jendral pada tahun 65 silam terlepas dari siapa dalang dibaliknya. Wahai saudaraku, ini semua bukanlah sebuah kebetulan, karena tiada yang kebetulan di dunia ini yang ada hanyalah ketetapan. Kita manusia makhluk yang lemah serta tak berdaya. Yang bisa kita lakukan hanyalah berdoa dan memohon. Oleh karena lemah dan tak mampunya kita sebagai manusia, ditengah terpaan cobaan yang tengah kita hadapi ini, hal yang paling utama harus kita lakukan adalah berdoa. Walau telekomunikasi terputus akses darat maupun laut tertutup, namun tak ada yang dapat megghalangi doa kita. #prayforpalu Semoga saudaraku di seluruh Indonesia yang tengah diterpa angin musibah diberikan kesabaran dan ketabahan. 20살 어린날, 가사 하나 없는 피아노곡에 왜 그리도 빠져들었었는지.. 가사보다 더 한 수 많은 감정들이 느껴지는 곡. 온갖 감정들이 맘 속에 휘몰아친다. 난생 처음 사랑한 피아노곡. 이 곡 때문에 피아노를 배우고 싶었는데.. 이제 마흔을 앞에두고 9살 난 아들에게 “엄마가 어릴때부터 제일 좋아하는 곡이야, 열심히 배워서 꼭 엄마한테 들려줘” 아들은 “응” 하고 대답한다. 시간은 20년이 가까웠지만 여전히 난 스무살 그때처럼 설렌다.

Ever since this piano track is being played at my dad’s funeral it has forever been etched in my mind as the most beautiful song with the most melancholic melody. It always reminds me of my dad whenever I hear this again. That feeling of seeing my dad for the last time always overwhelmed me. I really miss my Dad.

Remember kids, appreciate your parents even though they may be the biggest annoyance you will ever know. Parents will scream and shout at you, they will say things that make you cry at times. But they do that to make you into a better person. Remember to tell them that you love them.
