Nice catch! It missed us all completely! :X Luckily David was on 0 cards in hand and he just activated 2 more times in later turns, so it didn't affect the outcome of the game!
Sakura can go well with Quirion ranger which he could fetch as the first Yisan counter. That's why it was instantly shot down by Brandão with Dread presence, as Brandão piloted that deck for a long time already
Super suprised with 4 turns floating the narset player didnt win then and there. The odds of her whiffing at that point are sooooo low. I was shocked another turn wheeled afterwards. Shark typhoon is such a random card in that deck. Also what happened to his opening hand eti? When he hit scroll rack with waves of agresson flipped I THOUGHT FOR SURE he was going to put eti on top of his library, play waves of agression attack and win. Weird
You guys deserve much more subscribers. I've discovered you randomly 2 weeks ago, and i've watched all of your videos. Great editing, nice commentary, cool cEDH decks. My only cEDH deck is a GAAIV stax control deck, and i would love to see one of you guys bring the Arbiter to the table once.
Baal had playtested it a little bit while theory crafting it with Aajimu and he fell in love with the deck so we might have him play it again some time later! :)
If only Narset isn't deadlocked into Extra Turns Tribal, then i'd build a fun deck for her. Otherwise, i am not, or i can undo the life of any Narset players in my community. Gotta remove the parasites, right?
You can do different things with her. There's a player in a close playgroup that ran her as an super friends deck with obliterate nd armaggedon effects. Maybe less consistent, but something different none the less :)
Mana vault's untap ability is actually a triggered ability, unlike Grim Monolith. If you read the old card it might induce you to error, but the new UMA printing is worded like the Oracle.
Depends how you look at it. You can choose to be excited for the player and see if they'll make it. David isn't going to play Narset every single match, so it's fine if he tries something different and it works out
Since this list is more focused on playing expensive extra turn spells, when Narset gets rolling, Underworld Breach would be a dead card. For it to be worth it, I would have to build a different deck with her.
For Game 1 - Can someone explain to me how Golos came down on turn 1? Cloud Key just makes Golos cost 4 mana. Not 3 And they only had Grim Monolith and Chromatic Star "open" Am I just missing something?
Sol Ring produced 2 colorless, but Grim Monolith only costs 1 due to Cloud Key. So he has 1 colorless floating after casting the Monolith to use on Golos
