It looks great! We got some of those and you can mix them in with the wooden tiles to make different looks! They're so nice because of the way they drain like you were mentioning. Also because they have the air holes, it keeps things from getting all gross underneath them. You could also put down some gravel first if you are concerned.

Ñot to be a"Debbie Downer" but wayer going underneath is a concern in my mind. Dark and wet causes, mold, mildew, fungus and other narly things to grow sight unseen underneath maybe?!?!?!

The pieces had drainage holes in the bottom. Hopefully Lori would not get enough rain that she would have standing water underneath them.
