Although the market is open 365 days a year as you said, I would not recommend visiting during the Chinese new yr season (1 week before and 2 weeks after) as well as the october national holidays (first week holidays). The market maybe open but you will find 30% of the stalls closed as the shopkeepers are on holidays

@@EcomCrew I have done business in Yiwu on 4 trips. I have never seen these tour guides at the Marriott (just across the road from the markets) don't know where you stay. Shanghai to Yiwu is 1 hour 45 minutes on the fast train. Your MOQ estimates are wrong. Glad you are not my accountant with your agent % costs. The shopkeepers English is better than my Chinese. You also seem to be angling that you can only buy products for Africa and the third world countries. This is nonsense. Buyers i meet at my hotel came from all countries. Many factories are located in towns within 1 hour drive from Yiwu markets. Maybe your account of Yiwu was current in 2016 and maybe viewers should understand its is not current in 2019.
