It's so fun to listen to them talk about the award and these past months. They, as always, are still cracking a few jokes in the interview. I know that they consider themselves as comedians. Yes, very true. But, they do, in fact, have beautiful voices and great talent playing instruments and writing songs. I feel full happy to say that they deserve the award beyond how popular The Fox was these last months.
These two are so insync with each other, I suspect sometimes a joke they find quite obvious is lost to us observers. I didn't sense any tension between them. That they bicker and half-dislike each other is part of their shtick. I do hope they are able to just focus on their tv show and caberet performances soon, though. That's where their real genius lies.
They have said in another interview a few years ago ; they were asked if they are best friends and they said no. They were asked if they called each other when they had a problem and they said no they have seperate friends. But this was years ago, whether they were serious or not these two don't have time for separate friends, they only have time for each other with how busy they are now so I would have to assume they would have to be best friends.

While they're joking about the extreme measures they go to avoid each other, I would totally understand how two people who have to spend almost every waking hour together would try to find ways to have time apart. Familiarity can sometimes breed contempt, family or not.
Oh oh, Vegard seems to take it a lot more serious with talking about the kids than Bård does. He seemed very pissed of for the rest of the interview :/ Made me feel uncomfortable :/
