@TV NORGE if you are going to translate this, make sure that when they speak more classic "formal" Norwegian it is translated to a more "Shakespearian style" English.

I'm Swedish so I understand what they're saying. But I don't get the premise or background... So Vegard was doing military service while also doing the show and they came to "rescue" him or what? :)

Its mandatory for men to serve 1 year in the military if your health is good. After that you are done, but you might be called in to do a one week duty in the national guard afterwards until your are too old to be called in (don't know what age that is) Vegard was called in and couldn't do anything about it (its illegal not to show up and serve that one week) So Bård, calle and magnus is showing up where he is serving as medieval soldiers trying to save him from the military without him knowing.

This is not actually the Norwegian Army, this is something called Heimvernet (homeguard? idk wat its called in english). Its basiclly civillians who are called to serve when they are needed. This is not their main job.
