After years of being embarrassed by my husband’s occasionally overly explicit jokes when we’re with groups of people it is comforting to watch these Ylvis videos and see that this capacity to embarrass is apparently a trait common to some Norwegian men. Striking resemblance between him and Bard, too. Crazy guys. They make you laugh even when you know you shouldn't. You can't help but love them.

Once again, Ylvis has surprised me with this video. I must admit that the first time I saw it I was kind of shocked. It starts out like a song about 'lady parts', etc. Then it flows into a commercial for a Jacuzzi. I must admit that I do like it. I am taken by their clever use of parody and their great sense of humor. Yes, I am a fan.

I love this song. I laugh every time I hear it (and I hear it a lot because it gets stuck in my head so easily). But I really, really, really want to know... I dont understand how people actually think Ylvis make serious music. A quick google search would show they host a talk show similar to SNL and are comedians.

I'd just like to point something out: THIS IS A PARODY! DO NOT TAKE IT SERIOUSLY! The reason I'm pointing this out is because people here do not seem to get it. They think this is a real song. It's not. Neither is What does the fox say. It was a trailer for their comedy show where they do parodies and sketches. So PLEASE do not think this is a real song! Ylvis are comedians who also make catchy songs! This video is a parody on all the sex-focus in a lot of music-videos today, and IMO they are successfull in showing how ridiculous those videos are. Comedy is obvious not universal, since a lot of people dont't seem to see this, but for everyone who appreciate Ylvis' humor there are a lot of awsome videos of them here on RU-vid :-)
