bruh fr, they really hid it well in the trailers I've seen so this game's in-game story surprised everyone. 10/10 good bamboozle

Its babies first horror game. I think more horror games should lure you into thinking it is a cheery game them everything slowly falls apart. Marketing included.

@@El-Gato69 IMO this is the only "kids' horror" game done right in recent years. It's not meant to come across as a horror game, it's a mon collecting game about funny muppets that just so happens to have an eldritch horror that gruesomely transforms your Sesame Street friends into funny food if you ignored their emotional problems.

I thought the previous version was less interesting actually, it's a bit more cliche than the old one. It seems quite out of nowhere for him too, since he seems to love the NPC life. With the second version, it'd explain why he'd all of a sudden give up his bland life. It doesn't really take away his agency too, since it's still his decision if he wants to pursue the non-NPC life even if someone else gave him the glasses.

So in a way, it's a artificial morality then organic, if that's true then it's a common problem in films and general todays storytellers , where the protagonist is made to be the hero, then the protagonist become the hero by free will, I do find that to be unfortunate.

I think they changed it back in the end? So I guess that's good.

@@acreativename2781 I looked at some gameplay from someone playing on the PS4 Pro, and it looks much faster there, so you should be good.

They might have been there long enough to experience the limb change, but were terrible at hunting bugsnax that the effect wore off and just hadn’t eaten any recently before the player arrived. Vegetarian guy survived without eating them so they must have had other options, and would explain why they keep asking the player to bring them some since you are good at hunting them
