I was Very excited when they started playing this, was looking forward to seeing them play the rest... Now i'm just incredibly sad. Rest in Peace Scoot
The game's subject matter aside, it's wild what Rare got out of the N64 at the end of its life cycle. This feels like a PS2 game. It has insane production value.
They did a similair marvel with Perfect Dark a year before this too. Both games look like PS2 games and somehow manage to be fully voiced too. Rare were doing some witchcraft in the late 90's.
Yet despite their immense talent, and nearly every game they made being evergreen beloved classics to this day, Nintendo foolishly chose not to buy the company and in the process lost an enormous amount of their classic titles to Microsoft.
Nintendo really missed out on Rare. But judging by their horrible judgement (Dinosaur Planet being redone for another console so _their_ mascot could get the spotlight despite not even being in the same genre as DP) it was for the better.
The game barely even started and Adum is already finding speedrun strats. I know this game is famously known for the poo boss, but wow, the solution to that bullfight puzzle is something else. I forgot how much cartoon gore this game has.
The Conker who appears in Diddy Kong Racing may as well be a different character, since at that point, the game was still 'Twelve Tails' and completely kid friendly. The swearing, sex jokes and gore were added to what became 'Conker's Bad Fur Day' instead, partially out of spite for people who dismissed its earlier build for being 'too kiddy'.
Part of that was also that Banjo blew what plans Rare had for Conker out of the water so the higher ups wanted to retool it, with Chris Seavor being the one to change the direction to 'far less kiddy'.
Only the REAL ONES know what the significance of "Media offline" is in relation to this video. Also (un)popular opinion but I found "Media offline" just repeating randomly to be supremely funny.
@@MausOfTheHouseBasically some parts of the video were generic Adobe Premiere "Media offline" stills (For example, the door opening mp4 at the start). It's not THAT funny or significant, but I personally found it hilarious.
That is freaky. I literally just started watching the unedited version yesterday. Has Adum bugged my house? Is Scoot hiding under my bed? Some questions are better left unanswered.
Pavarotti was a tenor and i believe some of those low notes would have been waaayy out of his range. Not to mention his English was always very poor and I never heard a recording of him singing in English even a third this clean. It was actually Chris Marlow!
Wait, the media offline thing in the original upload wasn’t a joke? I just assumed that was done intentionally for comedy and I even deleted my comment pointing it out because I thought I was gonna get whooshed.
Rareware being a british company is also why Krystal in Star Fox Adventures has a british accent compared to her voice in Assault. Too bad Rareware was bought by Microsoft and they haven't made anything with it worth a damn
This has to be the third or fourth re-upload now. I totally remember watching the first one, and Scoot said like 14 slurs completely uncensored. I haven't seen such a performance since the last time I saw Joe Rogan do stand-up.
Oh noice this si ther OG game, not the crappy Live version made by Xbaux where they had to be edgy and replace the Frying Pan with a Baseball Bat... F**kin MS.
