“How do two brothers get into the nail care business?” This is the single most common question people ask us. There’s a long and rocky version but we’ll give you the short one. We have our fearless and unconventional mother, Young Salo, to thank. With a single-minded entrepreneurial spirit, she decided to start her own business at the age of 49. She had a passion for the nail industry and we did everything in our power to support her. In the end, this is a family business.
Greg, the older brother, became a licensed nail technician after switching gears from fire fighter’s training. He is energy personified and has a true passion for developing the best professional nail care products and education. Habib is the younger brother. He jumped in a few years later; taking a detour from medical school and a life in music. He brings his own creative mind for business, marketing and strategy. Unexpectedly, we are a perfect team.
Today, more than 20 years later, Young Nails Inc., is a professional nail care manufacturing company exporting to over 40 countries worldwide and distributing domestically to over 3000 stores. We’re respected for our next-level product innovation and education. Our mission is to bring you the best quality products and we’ll show you how to use them with incredible results. It’s really that simple.
Welcome to the Young Nails family!

Hello YN, I’m new to Acrylics and I tried this method last week. (Along with your form method). On my first acrylic nail. It worked beautifully! So happy, turns out I love sculpting. And I was terribly afraid of trying it ha ha! I’m a nail enthusiast no formal training yet! Y’all are great teachers! I can’t wait to be taught! Thanks so much! I appreciate Y’all!

Yayyy nail school. I've found that I must not use enough monomer because my first bead (I use a size 12 brush) I will place down and it starts to self level but by the time I get it situated and begin to bring it down it's beginning to harden and there's nothing like having a lump of acrylic at the top and then trying to meet the acrylic from the other end which I hope someone understands this.... then my bead coming from the other direction is to runny and I get so discouraged. This happens at least on one of my nails or some version of it everytime I work with natural or white acrylics. It's frustrating because I have a passion for nails and yes acrylics and I see you (Greg) almost effortlessly place that bead and it essentially guides itself. I know I have that in me. I just haven't found perfection quite yet.

I am having the exact same problem, my acrylic either doesnt flow as far down the nail as it should or it just goes crazy out of control cos I have too much monomer.

is so great I watch these videos to learn so I can do my wife's nails it still takes me 4hrs but she doesn't complain since she gets a new set every week, might look clumpy but once you shaved it down will look awesome, good luck.

Excellent instruction! You make it look so easy. I don't have an acrylic ventilation system, but I am using this method with med and thick viscosity gels and polygels. Thank you
