Skyliners were popular on UK Motorways and Roads in the 80s & 90s often seen descending into Dover destined for the Costa Brava, French Riviera, Italian Riviera ,Yugoslavia and even to Paris and Amsterdam on weekend jaunts. Loads of Companies operated them including several small independent British operators : Intasun, NAT Holidays, Impact Holidays , Amberline Coaches, Zebra Holidays and of course National Express on routes between Scotland and London. Its other deadly rival was of course the Kassbohrer Setra Imperial double decker which enjoyed equal success.
