That's not very nice to say about Ann. Sure she's let herself go and isn't a fox like she was in the 70s or like her sister Nancy Wilson is, but Ann does not look masculine like Yngwie or any other man for that matter. The Wilson sisters are nice, classy ladies and a credit to the image of women in rock, unlike that trashy Lita Ford.
The beautiful blonde lady that hugs and kisses Sharon and Ozzy at the end, is Lori Hollen, she was Randy's best friend . He played the Crazy Train riffs over the phone to her asking for her opinion so she's one of the people fans can thank for that awesome song ! She is a really wonderful woman .
It's funny you say that because i seen Yngwie with George lynch as the opening act play a small club in my area and i shit you not half way through the show Yngwie took a break and was blow drying his hair on the side area of the stage....lol
@@everythingisnothing2632 Yngwie is the embodiment of arrogance. Have you seen his attitude with Dimebag? Go check Pantera's home video 2 "I don't want your fuckin' donuts", "fuck off". Dimebag was a fan of Yngwie, and then changed his mind in a second
He didn't seem rude to me. His wife looked sexy and nice. A lot of people shitting on him around here. I love his playing and I love Randy's playing. The dude most likely has jet lag, at a guess. I wonder how good all of us would look under constant scrutiny. last time I checked I could be in better shape! LOL What good is a cool life without some cold brews and some great food? Lighten up! Lets party!!!! LOL
Not sure if any of it is really true but he constantly puts down other guitarists. He is obviously very good but so are a lot of other guitar players out there now. He sounds like a little whining baby.
@@Mrepolite Apparently sense of hearing isn't exactly your strong suit. He has an awfully deep voice compared to an infant. Now that would be bizarre - an infant whining in Yngwie's voice. By the way, you do know that putting someone down and whining aren't at all the same thing don't you?
Nice video. Ozzy wanted Yngwie in his band before Jake E. Lee but Yngwie chose Alcatraz because they let him be a huge part of the writing. They met in the 80s. He respectfully declined offers from Dio, Whitesnake and U.F.O. and David lee Roth as well. Can't help but notice that Everyone knows Yngwie.
1.35, Zakk W meets Yngwie J , a very inspiring moment and instance of Metal brotherhood , and also something of a glimmer of how two guitar gods greet when they gather for a higher purpose. Very nice watching. But, in spite of all this, Yngwie is not as unpredictable as one of his mentors used to be (who sounds much friendlier now), and I'm not even talking about Niccolo Paganini. I prefer to deem what some call a ''boasting personality'' as ''highly positive self-confidence'', which is something completely different and more rare. This kind of leading trait often motivates others around for work, cooperation, or in this case, part-taking as an audience of event or concert, not always a necessarily passive subject. You see, being picky about Malmsteen's ways is indeed what gets the Metal world closer to TV-morning-show gossip levels, and that, dear sirs, I cannot stand.
I thought there might be some more info about the event itself when I clicked this link. I think I remember seeing something about this event at the time it happened. As far as Yngwie goes, I actually met him once in the 90s backstage at a venue and he was nice to everyone and friendly, even while he was warming up before his set with people standing around. He played an impressive live show too. No disappointments there. That's all I have to say about that.
Jokes aside. I think Yngvie respected and admired Randy as a composer and a player. If Randy were alive in 1985. He would have destroyed anyone in existence.
Audio was a bit difficult to discern in a few areas but did Sharron Osbourne say "Nice to meet you" to Yngwie? I was sure she and Ozzy had met Yngwie at some point in the past...
Most obvious difference between Randy and Yngwie: With Yngwie you're blown away at first then after 3 songs you're bored. With Randy you're blown away at first then he keeps blowing you away the more you listen.
Malmsteen is the superior shredder but can't write like Randy did. It's a good point you made like listening to one type of lead over and over,, Both awesome.
Yea ! why do they not point out Ozzy, and I don't think he is an asshole but he has been. Sharon is a phony who I can't stand. anti establishment shill
Never seen this clip before. That line right at the end from someone off-camera: “Where are the Osbournes at?” Umm, dude. They’ve been standing in front of you for like a minute.
He also wrote the foreword to a book about Randy and recounted how much he liked Randy's playing when he first heard Mr. Crowley at a party shortly after coming to America.
Since I bought my polyester, all over Rising Force shirt, people go out of their way to compliment me . What an awesome shirt, what an awesome album & what an awesome time to witness all the heavy metal acts, during the '80s!!!
I saw him twice....with Alcatraz opening for Eddie Money and Saga in early 80s....i had been playing for about 1 year and when he had a 5 minute solo....I passed the joint and ran up front.....I had never ever heard anything like that....starting checking my guitar player magazines.....as thats all there was and I'll be a s.o.b there he was in a small spot as the up and coming players!....another cool 1 is buckethead in the sam column a few years later....damn im old!
