Tina S. was an amazing YT guitarist voted the best one for three years in a row & it was a great loss when she stopped posting new videos in 2016. P.S. Thanks Crissy for letting us know that Tina is a lawyer now. I still hope that she plays the guitar in her spare time.
Tina is not a lawyer, it's impossible at her age!! She is in an engineering school in Evry. Her school is Télécom SudParis, near Paris, is a major engineering, research and innovation school in information and communication science and technology.

Love your reactions to Tina S ., And I agree with other comments that you need to do "For The Love Of God", her Steve Vai cover. She really exercises the whammy bar in this one. Another young prodigy guitarist you should be aware of is Max Ostro. At his tender age, he is already working for Jam Tracks Central and is so fluid with his playing that he makes it look effortless. The song "Promenade" is just Max playing over a Jam Track. I believe he is using a thimble on the little finger of his picking hand the way some other greats do. It's amazing!

Tina Setkic was born on April 7, 1999, this video was edited at the end of March 2014, she was 14 years and 11 months old, and only 2 years of practice with this teacher.
Tina S has Alvaro classical guitars, 1 Gibson Les Paul, 1 Ibanez, and 3 Vigier guitars. On this video it is an Excalibur Custom, with micros HSH Seymour Duncan, bought in 2012 and she was endorsed by Vigier in 2013 afterwards. She played the Moonlight Sonata on this same guitar in August 2016.

Yngwie wrote that he composed this difficult piece to show arpeggios. He boasted of being the only one who could play this piece ! Tina wanted to take up the challenge, and she gave a lesson to Yngwie, who never wanted to answer my questions about Tina's video, he's upset ! In this piece, Tina explains that there is only technique and performance, difficulty, challenge that interests her. She was not yet 15 y.o. in March 2014, and only 2 years of electric guitar practice !!

When they stated arpeggios from hell, they are not literally staying that they are from hell, they are in fact talking about a particularly difficult set of arpeggios. Arpeggios from hell literally means complected/complex/difficult. It's a British expression.
I love her face and expressions in this video ! And we must thank her teacher Renaud Louis-Servais who taught Tina how to play the electric guitar correctly since she was 13, and who made her a genius in just 1 year of practice !!

Tina S lives at Telecom SudParis, part of IMT-BS, is a major engineering, research and innovation school in information and communication science and technology. Her promotion ends in March 2023. Her little sister Léa is in the same business school, IMT-BS Evry, in the management section.
