He is a living legend touring the world doing back to back shows 6 in a row look at his touring schedule at 61! LEGEND!!!! Then you have these guitar player wannabe's hiding behind a computer screen saying uhhhh he is sloppy LOL to the jealous dipsticks!!!
Great, still love it! Learned a great deal but still working on the YJM style since he first hit the scene and I still can’t get enough of it In my 60s now, still playing in a cover bands and I get to throw in a Yngwie bit in here or there and the reception is always a rush! Imagine going from Dancing with Myself, Summer of 69 into Trilogy Suite or Rising Force, fun

some kind of bizzar... remember (him) seeing pics with his house and cars decades back in a lot of magazines; and now in 2024 live on stage... there is such a gap between... getting old... but, hell, he is the man! imagine amadeus (mozart) reached his 50/60+... damn! 2024 - a lesson in ingenuity!
Top quality image and cadrage, good pursuing choices. 👍🏻 GREAT SOUND AND PICTURES SHOW THANKS TO #YNGWIEMALMSTEEN_OFFICIAL Rock and Roll de Métal à sério MERCI pour ce film magnifique Alexander Järvinen Thanks for sharing. HELLFEST was maybe the greatest stage they made on this Tour 2024.
The people that hate this saw Yngwie back in the day when he was fab. In a lot of ways Yngwie peaked musically in Alcatraz regarding songwriting. After that he commenced a predictable pattern of rewriting the same 3 songs (slow, medium, and fast) ad infinitum with a revolving door of hourly employees. Lots of great listens til about 2000ish when the trolley fully left the tracks.
and someways it’s hard to disagree with you. I would say his height was right around 86/87 before his car accident. I think Odyssey was a good album thanks to joe lynn turner and had a couple good songs here and there, but if he stayed with a good singer, and do a little more rock than Bach he would be massive
@@mrshredder0076 I do remember the first return of Boals CD (War of Worlds?) because we had a listening party and could not play the disc because the mix was so bad it was going to damage the speakers. I think Alchemy was better? Personally not a fan of the concerto full orchestra format. None of the releases, the titles, the singers, the songs, stuck to my brain anymore somewhere early 2000ish. When I would sample each disc upon release it was so disheartening that he was just doing the exact same song formulas (double bass drums etc) minus the catchy song formats like "You Don't Remember" or the Odyssey stuff, I'd just skip to the next track. I was the biggest Yngwie guy alive in the day. Saw him at a record convention Alcatraz gig in Wisconsin in a gymnasium. Nobody was there (meaning maybe 300 people?). It was the skinny 21 year old Yngwie. Stood right in front of him. The stage was only about 4 feet high...I think it was a high school gymnasium. His sound had no delay no reverb. Sharp and cutting just like the Alcatraz album. Nobody could grasp what he was doing with the arpeggios. Nobody could cut staccato lines back then like he did. It was truly incredible which is why everything he says about his debut in LA with Steeler is true. He played ONE TIME with Steeler and by the next gig word had spread and he packed all those little bars on the strip. Amazing.
@@Explorer766 its to hard to play without reverb. Its to dry. I hate the guitar sound on Trilogy. Sounds shit. On Odyssey and Magnum Opus best guitar sounds!✌️
All of my friends and I were Yngwie fanatics back in the heyday (mid 80s) most of them now are spineless little sellouts. Not me I still support him and buy the records. I’m looking forward to his show in November in Houston.
LEGEND!!!! To all the trolls stop wasting your time seeking out YNGWIE MALMSTEEN videos you all sound like wannabe jealous guitar players hiding in mamas basement. Don't like him..? Then stop seeking out his videos because us loyal fans all know deep down the jealousy is real.
@@Vbnklll No you are not you are a troll who is seeking out his videos because you are fuming with jealousy! All his shows have been sold out each and overnight and you are sitting behind your computer LOL!
Lol. 1. Because of Yngwie, there was a huge surge in guitarplaying back in the day. 2. .. and no. A lot of players. 99,99% of them play like programmed robots. 3. Yngwie played LIVE since he was 7 years old, todays computernerd guitarists rarely or at all ever saw a stage. 4. Not a single one of them are "better", although some are ok.
He does an insane job. I think no other singer last 20 years have even tried I'll See the Light Tonight. Too bad Yngwie has to take up all the stage. Singer deserve more focus
The 80's was a completely different time and world, something that the generations of social media have no clue about. Yngwie actually adjusted to the vibe of the times and remains a vital and interesting artist even in his 60's. How many bands or artists can claim that in 2024? Ofcourse a rebirth of the best 80's members would raise the bar and the show. Yngwie personifies the rock-era of the 80's and never really left it. Be happy for that, or you would have hade him playing "progressive" metal 🤮
@@babaali4410 Trolls? You need to prep your info on trolls.I've been his loyal fan since '83, but that doesn't mean i have to like everything he does if it is not good. That being said, obviously these matters are very subjective things. Some like some don't, cheers.

I saw him on the Rising Force tour, the Marching Out tour, the Trilogy tour, and the Odyssey tour. He was absolutely amazing and was selling out 5000 seater venues. This was before his car accident, which changed his playing and he got all sloppy, which is a shame. He used to be mind-blowing and now he's just average. I'm not quite sure why you're so upset. Good concert in terms of wild raw energy as usual ! I love Yngwie and his style (i' ve played myself for quite a while), but at this very gig he didn't make it((( There's some rush, playing behind or ahead of the beat, plenty of sloppy notes and mess and above all -vocalist-keyboardist is just AWEFUL! @NickVolk Sloppy notes?1? lol who are you again? The guy is a legend tours the world while doing 6 shows in a row while traveling and you "he is sloppy" LOL Get with it you are a nobody and he is a legend
Awesome dexterity.❤ He was so young when he had this high level . But his looking is so ridiculous, hair extensions ( be careful with the strings), over colored eyebrows , sideburns from the XIX th century ,front kicks dangerous for his balls in this tight pant , bucket of hair dye. 😂😂😂. The level of the delay is often too high. What do you think about?
Absolutly ,it was a other level.... I don't really like his way of stringing together extracts from his songs...he no longer respects the interpretation...he prefers to have more fun in his solos. Too bad.
Fast as usual, same songs all over the years, same tricks..... I agree with those who say that he does not interpretate anymore his music, his delay is so high, yes, he is a leyend and has awesome songs but lately watching him live is kind of boring and little bit disapointing.
Есть у него все)) Прекрасные мелодии))Послушай студийные работы)) А это был фестивальный сет длительностью один час и за этот час Ингви надо было устроить шоу.

It's absolutely unmistakably Yngwie. There's the obvious sound, his technique, his showmanship. And yet - I'll have to admit he's getting sloppy on his solos... Rhythm is still solid, but when he's doing his unisono licks with the keyboards, he's often just too far ahead of the tempo and compensates by throwing picks, or playing a high note, or some acrobatic move. And while a good show is great, it shouldn't (to me, at least) make the performance less good. But that's maybe just my view. I've been a musician for over 50 years, and never to his level obviously 😜👍 but I do want to give an audience my absolute best, always.
@@alex_yarvinen I'm more into progressive metal personally, and I've played anything between thát and classic rock. Look at my previous band August Life from the Netherlands, for instance.
@@babaali4410 I do know a bit what I'm talking about - I've played any kind of rock / metal, including technical speed metal (style Exodus, Anthrax) and progressive metal. I do know how important accuracy is. And mind you: It's still absolutely Yngwie - I still enjoy his playing!
