When they did play the song, firecrackers were set off, people scattered, the band went back *TO THEIR HOTEL* , the police greeted them when the band came down to the lobby, took them downtown, had a chat, and let them go... *THE END* Free speech is free speech, inciting a riot is *NOT* free speech, especially when the victims of said song to incite them, is the very police *PROTECTING* you from the criminals *while* you play the song claiming to hate them. And for anyone on the side of NWA playing the song cause of "freedom of speech".... well then, I guess you'd be on the side of the KKK if they wanted to hold a concert and play songs that incite people to kill blacks, jews, etc... right? Even though I never witnessed this era, these legends on the radio or live because I am born in 1992 & in India, I got to know about NWA in 2022 & I am blown with the fact that real NWA raps and videos are still as legendary as they were when released. It's totally unnatural how even after so many decades, nobody has matched the level of NWA... People who witnessed them at their present must be really lucky

i was a teenager when NWA blew up and they literally shaped my view of the world. as a young white teenage girl in california, and the music and revelations of that time were....life altering, no doubt. i learned how the world is different for me and how unjust the world really is, it shaped a whole generation of people. i wish it actually had changed the world in a way where these problems no longer exist, but, here we are.

It's not against the law for them to do so actually it's against the law for a cop to arrest you for singing a song it's freedom of speech and you can sue for a shit load of money, but in most cases the cops only care about this law for white people.If a black person does it they can't charge them with something like that so they usually make up some bullshit like resisting arrest even if they weren't under arrest in the first place. It happens all the time and judges let it fly.

It's sad that sjw's are trying to end the 1st amendment as well as the 2nd amendment and 4th amendment. Anyone arguing against that is wrong and either arguing out of emotion or ignorance of history. Just compare the longevity of today's protests, participated in regardless of race, in response to the murder of a black man by the police, to the Tulsa race massacre 100 years ago with white people tearing down a town because they thought a black man raped a white woman. 40 years after Tulsa, segregation was ended while 60 years prior, black people were slaves and couldnt vote. It must sound a lot better for black *slaves* to be killed by their owners routinely than for a nation to be outraged over a black *person* being murdered, right?
