These youngins don’t even know the work Gotti has put in. Man I remember listening to Gotti like 18yrs ago. The Life album. My homeboy had family from Memphis that put him on him early. The Life album. Way before 5 star chick and Down in the DM. Back 2 the basics was my favorite album though. I feel like I watched this dude evolve. Congrats to him 💯

I was on gotti since 2000 the album from the "dope game to the rap game" I went to a school that had a lot of north Memphis niggas (I'm not from the north ) so I never heard of Gotti before then. Them north Memphis niggas was rocking heavy with gotti they put me on him back then... iv been listening to Gotti every since... I remember back when I first moved to NYC in 09ish I went to this club in Spanish Harlem and they was playing ALL SPANISH music the whole night.....they played ONE rap song the entire night and the club went CRAZY that one rap song was yo gotti "shawty" Haha the club went crazy...they wasn't even feeling they own Spanish music lol. That's my Gotti story. I plan on telling him that when I meet him.
