Love your vids. I recently got hired at a local insurance company that has a gigantic IT department. I got a position there called Software Testing Engineer. I'm super happy and surprised I even got the position. It took me a ton of interviews to even get this far. I probably applied to like 40 some odd job listings and about 2 or 3 of them would call me back. I have no professional experience, but I do have a lot of volunteer coding experience since I'm a moderator on a popular coding forum. It changed my life completely. I went from a manufacture job directly to an IT job without having professional experience nor being an intern in any IT related jobs.
"I didn't get the times square apartment...maybe it's for smarter people, my resume kinda sucks.." ----HAHAHAHA literally me just being happy when my company gives me free stuff
as an inspiring cs international student coming to canada, you have no idea how much this series hyped me up to pursue my goals, always was afraid of cs but i guess i will get down to the grind now to be a part of a major game company someday

You're living a dream that every average student like me dreams of but can't achieve cause there's no time left (product of bad decisions and also needed a good guide). YEAH I'M JEALOUS!! Be happy bruh!!
I live in London, UK and I'm also about to start a software engineer - apprenticeship. Ok, I haven't gotten accepted into any yet but I've had a couple interviews and 2 of them are gonna tell me if I got a place or not next week and I'm feeling optimistic 😊. Wish me luck 🤞🏼
Yes man, congrats! Maybe I'll see you around seeing as I also live in NY not too far from the city. (I never go to the city tho so probably not 🥺) man I'm excited to see what you do! I finally got my first real job after I got my degree and it's at Amazon! Granted, it's not a software dev position, but it still has to do with tech thankfully and I get to work from home for now. Good luck Pan and maybe I'll see you around 👀! How hard can it be to spot a 6ft gorgeous Asian man in the city anyways? I can probably see you from my house! 😂
