The music that plays during the battle with the final boss Dame Demona. Surprisingly, no one had an extension of this on RU-vid, so I decided to do so myself. Rights reserved by their respective owners.
@@lollotheguy Sorry for the late reply lol. The thing is i was pretty young so i didn't know much about qr codes and stuff, luck wasn't on my side either when putting coins in the Crank-a-Kai.
This is my favorite type of final boss music. A mixture of dread and uplifting hope really sells the idea of just two powerful forces going at it with everything on the line.
The memories I've had with yo-kai watch bony spirits, me taking like an entire month to beat her, and when i did... got the ending, and heard the credits, i knewed, this was one of my favorite games of all time
2:00 makes me feel so powerful. After all the odds are stacked against the characters. This part makes me feel like we are fighting back with all our strength to finally finish this .
By far one of the hardest and most epic final bosses I've ever fought. It's made even harder as after you fight that wicked boss in the past battlefield the game locks you into the final battles with no way out until you complete the game. No buying items, no grinding, no doing sidequests, nothing. And the game doesn't give you a single warning about this! I literally had to restart the entire game because I wasn't prepared for how brutal this boss was and I lost all my items fighting her the first time (I lost) and couldn't buy more due to me being past the point of no return. Bull. Crap. Still an awesome fight though.
I think this is my favorite boss theme in any videogame. Pretty mixed on the boss itself because on one hand it tests everything you have learned up to that point and is as hard as she is intimidating. But on the other hand this boss fight is really freaking hard and feels like an endurance test. I have beat it, but it took awhile. As much as I love this game I really wish it made it so the average player would have their team higher leveled by this point or just have this boss nerfed, although it feels really good when you finally beat it.
I love the Dame Dedtime and Demona fights- they're hard in the right way, you really have to think to beat them. I did manage to beat Demona at around Level 37 after a few attempts, and he fight was an absolute blast. I'd say Dedtime's a better (and harder) fight, but Demona's great too. If you can't tell, I love challenge. I played through the game with no accessories for a reason.
You think that was painful? I beat the first game without doing anything (in the battles.) I tried the second game to, but I gave up on the kin & gin fight.
@@PointerAndAPen like dedtime can steal your levels and summon monsters and junk and until them monsters are dead, the yo kai affected will be weaker than normal. and even after you take back the level, she can just steal it again RIGHT AFTERWARDS which is frustrating. i don’t fully remember the fight, but if she can heal at half health then that makes everything so much worse. dedtime also has that dumb laser attack that hits like the truck that killed jibanyan. (HARD) demona on the other hand… it’s just the dragon that can steal stats and the dragons themselves are pretty weak ngl. also the soul attack is easily avoidable too since you can just get rid of them as they spawned. yes, demona can steal attacks and your menu’s, but it’s temporary and can come back faster than having to kill the dumb summoned wicked that dedtime brings to only have to do it again. i personally think demona was tailored to be more tanky and inspiriting based while dedtime was tailored towards making the fight as IRRITATING as possible; in other words, she’s more tailored to attack power and had a broader range of moves. TL;DR: demona’s more beefy and has less support with a inspiriting and debuffing moveset while dedtime’s stronger in attack and has very viable support and a broken moveset
Honestly, I had continuously lost to Dame Dedtime due to the level stealing so much to the point that I decided to befriend Snartle. Luckily, it was on my first attempt (much to my surprise), and from there it was mostly a breeze.
This brings back memories when i had a team full of cats The watermelon jibanyan Plane jibanyan Jibanyan Bad jibanyan Strawberry jibanyan And of course i had shogunyan I think i see a pattern
I kinda have the same: shogunyan, robonyan, darknyan, hovernyan, wondernyan and carnino (idk the english name, but Is that pink dog hugging a giant Heart)
Yo-kai Watch 1's final boss was nothing compared to *her.* No, not the final form. *The first one, that stole the levels and summons monsters annoying as fry.*
When I first battled against team demona, I had totally underestimated the strength of that Yokai (My team were levels 30-39, so you can see how and why I was sweating hecking bullets
The final team was: Buchinyan (Level 45) Alhail (Level 45) Pinkipoo (Level 45) Foiletta (Level 45) Robbinyu (Level 45) Mermaidyn (Level 45) (The same one when rescued from being turned to stone, after reaching S Rank, she evolved into Mermadonna) Whats your final team, and who was the MVP. My MVP are Pinkipoo due to its consectitive healing, Alhail for dodging her Soultimate "Finale", and Foiletta for taking a hit from Finale with 1 HP and dealing the final blow.
Well... here's my team. My final story team at least, currently using another one that's a bit different (Everyone was around late lv.30ies) Frostina (became Blizzaria after S rank) Komasan (replaced by Kyubi later) Jibanyan (replaced by Shogunyan later) Shadow Venoct Mermaidyn (became Mermadonna after S rank) Tattlecast (Replaced by Pinkipoo later) MVP? Shadow Venoct and his healing for sure. When I was spamming medicines he healed everyone with Tattlecast, but he was faster and straight up healed more. Because of that I never removed him again lol Frostina finished Demona with her Soultimate (was pretty lucky it wasn't "stolen"). At first I wanted Jibanyan to land the finisher, but he was koed before he could do... so yeah--
I don’t remember my team much, I only remember I had shogunyan and pinkipoo. Shogunyan was definitely the mvp because without him I would of never beaten dame dedtime
Just beat her today, it was an awesome fight and I was truly proud of beating her first try. My team was lv.41-lv.43 and not being able to purify them sure made this a pretty challenging fight. Thank you speed talisman, Urchin, Beef Tongue, Shrimp rice ball, and Fruit Milk. This is definitely my favorite fight in the series so far. (Only completed YKW1+post game and YKW2:Psychic Specters main game so there may be more awaiting me soon.)
My team for this battle was Frostail Shadow venoct No sandkyu Cutta-nah-nah Sheen Moskevil Edit: ok so recently ive been grinding becuase i never realised how weak and low level my team actually was, so i changed up my team a LOT and leveled up. In the end of my playthrough this is what my team is Illuminoct Darknyan Slurpent Wobblewok Snartle Shogunyan All level 99
How do I even get shadow venoct in the party, I have yo Kai watch 2 bony spirits and I don’t wanna fight dame dedtime but I have to in order to progress and it won’t let me go far.
Jibanyan Auntie Heart Buchinyan Shadow Venoct Bloominoko Foiletta Foiletta wasn’t the strongest since you can’t really inspirit bosses but Jibanyan and Buchinyan’s moxie moves were so good (victory, flurry of fury)
This sounds like a final boss theme in a Kirby game I can imagine Kirby, King Dedede, Meta Knight, & Bandana Dee all fighting the final boss with this song in the background
I remember beating her 3 days after I beated her first form by some DUMB LUCK. Jibanyan had 1 HP and every other Yo Kai was KO, but she had 1 HP as well. And then Jibanyan attacked before her.
I love this boss test you by having it take away the stuff that you depend on the most, you can’t use your soultimate because she can steal that and your items and purification this test how much you have trained your yo kai and that alone
Everyone’s talking about this being the toughest boss fight and then I for some reason had a harder time with the first form, it took an uncountable number of attempts to win against the first form during my first playthrough, and I distinctly remember the second form taking exactly 4 tries. Guess my team was unintentionally optimized for this fight (I cannot remember which Yokai I used, though, I swapped all of them out at some point during the post game)
I like the vocals, I think it’s dame demona’s human part ( she was once human) screaming out for her to stop, I also like how, just like with McKraken, it goes from weird, to disturbing, to hopeful
Might be possible with a Brave tribe team (I'm thinking about something based aroound Shogunyan), but take it with a grain of salt since i'm not sure about it@@JonSmith-qw4xu
I remember being to the last group of hp of the boss with 4 yokai, I tried to use an Energimax bit she absorbed it and one shotted 3 of them, the only one remaining was Jibanyan, a final Flurry Rush and I've won, thanks Jibanyan, I'll never forget that
y'know. if they were to ever do a 3-pack of yo-kai watch to the switch. I'd buy it. Yeah, they didn't gain as much traction over here as Pokemon had and still does have us firmly focused, but they were fun games. Heck, I'm working through 3 right now and I still have copies of yo-kai watch 1 and 2(all 3 versions. send help)
I can never get enough of the "You've come so far" and the "Culmination of your journey" themes in final boss music. ESPECIALLY when there are leimotifs from several themes throughout the game. And I cannot stress how much I love the interludes of "There's still hope" in the darkest themes.
I. HATE. THIS. FIGHT. TOOK ME A WEEK TO WIN. AND THAT WAS WITH REALLY GOOD CRANK-A-KAI LUCK, GIVING ME A TEAM OF S RANKS. This fight was hard, but not in a good way.
Use Roughraff, is F'CKIN stronger than S-ranks, I beated this battle with him doing a lot of damage and enduring a lot of hits, and also is an E-rank, and that means than he also farm experience SOOO quickly
Ik this was a old comment but if anyone was to fight Dame demona dont use special moves (forgot how to spell soultamite) since demona will just take them away and then your wasting your time using special moves
Ok, I know a lot of people talk about the part right before she uses her Soultimate but am I the only one who realizes just how SICK 1:01 to 1:18 is? In a game full of mysterious, evil, and heart-wrenching encounters, this music feels so final and climactic it makes it a perfect "secret" final boss. Kinda. Dame Dedtime was a lot harder.
A really good music piece, but MAN does this boss SUCK. She's one of the worst written villains I think I've ever seen, and this boss is just cheap in all the wrong ways
yeah this games plot bugs me, dedtime really comes out of nowhere and has 0 character and the last like 3 chapters of the game are over in 30 minutes compared to the rest of the game. yw3s plot is way better at least (but this is my favorite final boss theme of the series)
