The last scene was the most emotional for me. So Yo Maps goes to the village to visit his mother..he explains his pressure to his mother, then she gets the Zambian Flag and wraps it around him, then blesses him. That was signifying that he's the one to take Zambia to international status! Thank you Banks! This means a lot to us Zambias 🙌❤️

Great reaction Banks 🔥🔥🔥. Some back story: The song is based on events that happened to him this year. Some of the questions asked by the reporters in the beginning are based off real events. 1. "Does performing for 7 people in a foreign country make you an international artist?" -> Last Month Yo Maps performed in Germany for quite a small crowd(more than 7 though, lol), and people made fun of him for it. 2. "30 000 kwacha for an interview?" -> Some months ago Yo Maps apparently turned down a podcast appearance, apparently cause he wanted to be paid 30 0000 kwacha. He then went on a live video with his wife where they were heard making some pretty arrogant statements(according to the fans), leading fans to calling him arrogant. Consequently Zambians refused to vote for him on his award nominations. As a result He lost all awards he was nominated for at the Kwacha awards, even though he was the favourite. Zambians opted to vote for another artist by the name of Chile 1

Yo maps manager and wife have brought him some very bad publicity and he lost favor with many of his fans me included but this video man! I don’t know how you caught the emotion in it but it’s sad actually, especially the last bit. That’s his real mum comforting him and it made me so emotional. It wasn't fair for people to blame kidist's mistakes all on maps. He has been working hard and has proven his music's worth,he didn't get where he is over night.
