Mafia Gang for real tho. That shit is as basic as it gets. It doesn’t even have good fights. It is 80% dialogue, 15% backstory that makes us feel “sorry” for the demon (which never happens cause it really doesn’t matter about a character we just met and have no time to get to know and understand), 5% fighting, and 5% of the MC magically feeling sorry for the demon cause apparently it still has humanity and somehow the feelings just happen to connect to the MC and shit.... like for real if it didn’t have the good animation this series would be nothing. It honestly feels like a rip off Bleach in a way...
Game On! No it isn’t... Their is a difference between fluffing it out with filler and dialogue scenes for the sake of being a weekly anime show and a show that has no excuse to draw out a fight with dialogue because it is a short seasonal anime. Also Naruto did way better with making their canon characters more significant and meaningful. Not some random demon backstories that we suddenly see either before or after they die. Why would I care about a character simply made for the purpose of getting bodied by a couple episodes. Not to mention how it does the same repeated cycle of fight, sudden “sad” backstory and death... I’m not saying that Naruto is clear from all of that and it is really overly done in anime but it has the excuse of being an older anime. I won’t care about the hashiras either unless they actually give them more character and likability. I hate all their one sided personalities.
Naruto and Sakura finished their test first but chose not to turn it in to waste time, and Neji was like fuck it let me be the one to turn it in first.
