Technically its great stuff, but I am HATING the tone the cello brings especially on the D string, its sounding weak in tone and muted overall and I don't its his approach to the piece. Overall his performance of it wasn't that good and I am shocked at that really, it was perfection which I am accustomed to him brining. I don't know why, but I know its not what he is capable of. Really didn't like this video of his, mostly I do and usually have nothing of any negative consequence to say.

I Learning Cello

Yo Yo Ma and his Stradivarius are the sounds that made up my childhood. This is how I envision THE cello sound. I had my own cello made to Strad specs to capture that sound. Thank you Yo Yo.
