Yeah until they understand the lyrics, lol. But then even like this, in a weird way it is very quintessentially Japanese / Asian for the song to be treated this way because in our culture we are supposed to just pretended everything is okay and act like we are high even when we are depressed af.

The song become popular mainly due to Oshi no Ko but also they are talented as well. When both merge it became a banger. I wonder will they do a song for Oshi no Ko season 2 and Love Agency if it do comes out.

The only J pop songs I listen aside form this is form Tokusastu( Japanese genre of special effects like Godzilla Ultraman, Kamen rider, super sentai along the American adaptation power rangers) So is nice to see j pop becoming more main stream thanks to this song and anime
Aw, they're so well-spoken. I've never seen any of their interviews before but this one moved my heart and opened my eyes to what a lovely person they are.
The person at the 2 minute mark is actually half Japanese and half Korean and speaks Japanese fluently so she does understand the meaning of the song. But this was such a fun watch.

I love how most of this is just "Idol" while the only other 2 videos are "Yoru ni kakeru". I'm surprised that none of them were about "Kaibutsu" since "Kaibutsu" actually has more views than "Yoru ni kakeru".
I was a huge fan of Ayase before YOASOBI came to be for his works with Vocaloids, and I'm so happy he started to work with Ikura to form a band. I hope they'll have a long career doing musics they love !

I discovered Yoasobi when one of my best friends asked me to translate "Yoru ni Kakeru" in Spanish. I just made a cover of that song, and i fell in love with this impressive Duo. I love all the songs and is nice to know that they like those translated covers. Is completely unofficial and is for myself but at least it feels well to know that they are happy about it.
I been watching a lot of these fan made Tiktok videos of Idol and Yoru ni Kakeru for 2 weeks now, some videos are very funny..and glad these were finally shown to Yoasobi so they can comment and react to them.

As Jpop listener, I kinda surprised that most artists in japan doesn't know that there are jpop listener all over the world. Of course we need to say thanks to ANIME. But nowadays, I listened to jpop even though the song aren't in any ANIME. I kinda like some of the bands like The Oral Cigarette, Hello Sleep walker, Egoist or many more. Artists like Yoasobi, Yuuki, Vaundy, Fujii Kaze, Kenshii Yonezu and many more literally has they music in my Spotify playlist.
yoasobi is truly great, the way the spread meaning and fun worldwide by music is trully amazing, im 1% according to spotify, when i discovered then in april its my most listened band since then.
I got a little sad when I realized the video ended I was so into it 😭 anyways it was fun to watch and it's funny seeing their confused reactions us from overseas understand lol!
just a fun fact: the tiktok with the caption "my brain after the past two weeks" is bebiisan and she speaks korean, japanese, and english. her parents also speak those 3 languages to her and even use all 3 in the same sentence
