I go to Yoders occasionally with my daughter Ginger who gets all her spices there and her gluten free flours. We make sure we go on the day the donut truck is there. OMG best donuts ever. Fresh and still warm. We always get a deli sandwich while there. I have a very hard time deciding what all bakery items to get to bring home. They also have fabulous jerky and the very best beef sticks. We love Yoders. Sure wish it was closer.
I used to live in Brooklyn, Michigan and there's a Country Market there. It's where we would always purchase our groceries me and my Mother 😊 I'm definitely going to be checking out this Country Market 😎👍
I used to live in Bulls Gap and me and my family loved going to Yoders a lot and get customized sandwich’s and beef sticks and their candies and the Davy Crockett birthplace is worth going and there is hiking trails there as well
We love Yoders! Their deli sandwiches are awesome and you can never go wrong with any of their desserts 😊. There is another Amish store in our area called Troyers. It is in Limestone and very similar to Yoders. You should check it out sometime
This place looks amazing! Can't wait to try that cheesecake. Thank you Ryan, for the advice on Facebook. We did find a cabin in Pigeon Fordge. We will be on the road in a couple hours.. Can't wait to spend a week in Tennessee.. so much to explore. ❤
I was rooting for you to try the dried hibiscus because it intrigues me! Those sandwiches look great! Wishing we had a store like this here in my small town in Northern California 🙂
Brie, Last Autumn Hubig's Pies returned to the market here in the New Orleans with Apple, and Lemon, and also most recently Chocolate. More flavors will follow.....yum !!!
I have been to the Yoder’s Country Market!!!! Also, there is a Yoder’s Country Market in Madison, Virginia. It’s also a Mennonite store. It’s very similar too!!!!! I live about half hour from the one in Virginia.
If you are ever in the area on Thursday they have roast beef sandwich with mashed potatoes and gravy. One is enough for people and it is delicious. I go to Yoder's at least once a month. /and the birch beer tastes similiar to root beer
Thanks for sharing your visit to the Amish store. We travel to Holmes County in Ohio and visit Amish stores in that area. I was glad to see you purchased some Buckeyes and in that regard I must say OH-IO
I have seen a sign 🪧 for Davy Crockett state park in April 2019 when our family took a trip to Marion, Arkansas to see my great uncle for his 80th birthday 🥳
Oh wow! Thank you for sharing this!! That store has so many of my kind of favorites! And those prices are going to for sure make me drive the extra distance right past Buc-ee’s when I go on trips to the Pigeon Forge area from my hometown here in Ky!! ♥️
This place is definitely on our list to go to now! Wow I can’t wait to try all the things, especially the fried pies, cakes, and cheesecakes! My husband, son (10 months old at the time), and I went to a neat place in Kentucky called Farmwald’s Restaurant and Dutch Bakery and it was really good and also had a small store. We went to this place before we explored Mammoth Cave.
All looked delicious! I’m from Southern Ohio, so we have a lot of Amish Bakery ect. Stores can never go wrong what they offer. Thanks for taking us along.👍❤️😕
We love Yoders!! Bacon Truck day is amazing. Christy loves the German Chocolate cake. The gummies are Albanese from Indiana (Worlds best!) It's difficult to go to Yoders and not leave with a cart full.
That's just 10 minutes from my house. You need to go on a Wednesday. They have a certain sandwich on special daily through the week and it's BLT on Wed and they are huge, probably close to an inch thick of just bacon. The sandwich is well worth making the stop. Honestly all their food is top of the line mostly.
The reuben looked so good. Ryan let me ask you a question. It's been a very long time, but a long time ago in Gatlinburg, across the small side street next to Ripleys, used to be a Jewish deli. I had the best reuben there that I have ever had in my life. Do you recall that deli? It was on the same side of the parkway as Ripleys and that small side street was between to two. I know it isn't there any longer, but I was wondering if you remembered it or not.
Interesting how the Amish food items We Baby Boomers grew up with when we lived up North back in the 1960’s,with organic ingredients have gone to processed food items , but they may still have some home made items that are better , I guess they have to do to support there families, interesting to see Amish families these days picking up processed potato chips and processed food these days at the grocery stores 😢😮
