A short 10 min yoga stretch featuring the fundamental poses/asanas for increasing leg flexibility with the aim of working up to hanumanasana (full splits). 🤸 Holding the stretches for longer will be even more effective, I kept it short for the sake of the duration of the video. 🦵
This video targets key lower body muscle groups: quadriceps, hamstrings, calfs, glutes and hip flexors.
Always remember that ANYBODY can do yoga and it's not about being the most flexible.
Yoga is about being with your body wherever that may be and as long as you feel a challenging sensation upon stretching, you are succeeding. 😃 Just don't push too hard to the point of pain !! This will not end well. 😰
