gaining awareness of the different muscles that together make up the hips has been the most rewarding part of yoga for me. they can be the source of pain, but also amazing relief, like after this fantastic practice! thank you, adriene :)

That was such a gorgeous, and gentle practice. Thank you so much Adriene. At the beginning of this practice, I was struggling to fucus. Mainly because of the awful weather, going on outside my window. We've got all kinds of wind, and rain here in the UK today. But soon I managed to focus back in on the yoga practice, and your lovely calming voice, and I forgot what the weather was doing, and got lost in my breath. Thank you for sharing this time with me, for teaching me how to return to my breath, and to return to myself. I hope you , and all in this community have a wonderful day. 💛 thank you so much Adriene, Namaste my friend. 🙏🧡

I needed a good slow stretching yoga this morning, so this was perfectly timed. I need to spend some time working on transitioning from tabletop to pigeon - can't quite get the space for that, so I may make that a project this week. Day 412 of the current run.

Hi Adriene! My massage therapist who also has her own yoga studio recommended your videos for starting my yoga practice. She expressed that for the first few years of her practice her positions were not exactly on point, which could have caused her injury and stated that your videos and channel would help keep me on the right path for making sure I was taking care of my body during this new practice. In that time through yoga and massage she identified that my Psoas (on the left especially) is chronically tight and I was completely stoked that I came across this video. Equally excited that I had relief immediately after. Since then I've done this video a few times this week and each day my pain has been a little less. I'm also a full time night RN and integrating yoga into my life before work has already made a difference mentally and physically. Thank you for your energy and providing us this platform. Ever since watching your yoga for beginner type videos I've been hooked and I look forward to seeing what my new yoga journey brings! Namaste.
