This video has changed my life. I started just a little over a month ago. It took me a week to make it from start to finish in 1 session. I would start from the beginning every morning and ever night. I got inspired and changed my diet. By week two, I was able to do the full video twice a day. I went from 126 to 111 lbs. I am healthier and stronger than I have ever been at 33 years old. I have friends coming over to share the video and start their journey too. I can touch my toes and I am beginning to see definition in my arms and abs. Thank you Adrienne, for making me a healthier mom, wife, and dental hygienist.

***** I've tried to see one of these videos and stopped at 15 minutes because they still hadn't started to give you the information. Do they ACTUALLY say anything at the end or do they keep on treating us like retards for 45 minutes and make us pay money to subscribe and still not say anything? "I'll give you a tip, but first, I'll say empty sentences for 15 minutes. Then I'll give you the most groundbreaking tip. But let me say something else that doesn't matter first and define the problem AGAIN, and then I'll give you a tip. But first...."

I have been doing yoga with Adrienne for about 3 years now 3-5 times a week. I have also been going through depression since September 2021 and struggling to get through even a 20 minute video..the weight gain is not helpful either! Just keep trucking along each day and trying to be better tomorrow than I am today!

Yes, I just finished the 30 days journey -23, and I thought it really did some great. Then I only maybe did yoga every week, like before the challenge. This was really HARD! I don't know why, but my legs kept shaking like crazy and my back have been hurting. Felt nothing in my stomach. Must get back to this video in the future and see ☺️ Now I will try yoga around 15-30 minutes every day and see. But I feel much sits in my head, I didn't say "only", that is the hardest part to challenge.

I can relate so much to this. Ever since I have had graves disease and recovered from it 2 years ago, now with depression and low motivation, I have been having such a difficult time getting back into yoga. I have tried looking for alternative means of exercise but my will is non existent, now I want to get back into it and hope I can. Let us do the best we can, as long as we showed up, we have succeeded ^^

I can bench and squat crazy weight, run for an hour straight. I can kill it in the gym and wake up sore to do it again the next day. THIS VIDEO HUMBLED ME. I realize now that doing crazy reps with crazy weights doesn't necessarily make you strong in application. I just started my yoga journey, and I didn't come into it with the right mindset. I was thinking "this will be easy, it's just something new to keep me active," and I was wrong. Thank you Adriene, for humbling me before I start this journey. This is going to be a challenge! And I can't wait.

Had the same realization when I had to stop training competitively for rowing 😅 I thought I could ease up by trading lifting, erging and running for 30+ minute yoga flows. Lol I suddenly realized what my physical therapist had meant when she mentioned tiny stabilizing muscles that aren’t typically targeted through even rigorous fitness regimens.

ive never done yoga before this video however i was an athlete. im unable to run competetively or in general anymore so i chose yoga as my exercise. i hadnt worked a whole number of muscles since high school so i was taking 20 to 30 min breaks after each pose. i can now go at least 3 poses before a break. and ive been doing it for a week so far. no one unless they r experienced in yoga could do this on the first shot no problem. covid made me let myself go too i gain 39lbs. im trying to get to 145 150lbs. i was 189lbs but now im 182lbs. its tough but stick with it and itll b easy in no time

lm surprised at the comments about being annoyed with her talking in this video. She's HUMAN, she's real, she's funny and her complete down-to-earthiness (that doesn't sound exactly right) is exactly what drew me to Yoga with Adriene 2 years ago and has kept me coming back ever since! Never change, Adriene! Namaste 🙏🏼

@Hbrickhouse

+miss42310 I understand that. you can always come out of a pose if she's holding it longer than what feels comfortable. That's the great thing about yoga.

About two years ago I started doing yoga with Adriene and I went from 210 lbs down to 168. Adriene is awesome and I live hearing her talk about weird things through the videos. She keeps my mind off of all the bad things happening in the world and the pain she puts me through in the video xD In all seriousness though she's a freaking angel and I think everyone should do her videos even if they just listen to her positive mindset. She's as calming as Bob Ross to me and that means alot 💕

This was my first ever yoga video and I was just about to die on my first attempt. I remember cursing for like 50% of the video and while I did finish the routine without pausing the video (but taking a one-second break here and there) my entire body was sore the next day. So, I decided to go easy on myself and started the 30-day challenge with Adrienne. Today was Day 10 and since it was just 12 minutes long, I decided to come back to this video again. Wow, I probably only cursed once and only took two one-second breaks. Can't believe how a mere 10 days with Adrienne (the videos weren't even that challenging and only about 30 minutes or shorter each) had improved my body strength by such a tremendous amount! So, if you're like me, don't give up! Start the 30-day challenge and you'll feel like you're much more in control of your body after that!

Had a breakdown 7 minutes into this. This video really let me understand how much I didn't love myself, didn't love my body that I let it get into this bad shape. It's 22:26 I'm laying here on my yoga mat, sobbing, because it really hit me, that I'm a dumbass who didn't take care of myself, I really hope that ill find strength to come back to this and other weight loss videos of yours and ill lose those 20kg. I'm a 16-year-old girl who weights 79kg and it really doesn't boost my confidence. I really hated exercising all my life. because I prefer spending my free time calmly, not moving or talking a lot. its just how I am. I really do believe that yoga will let me step out of this dark hole that I'm in rn.

Don't let yourself psych you out. I feel what you shared. I am soooooo not a fan of sweating but yoga has been my answer. There is so much more to yoga then sweating it's the inner stuff that I think is the best. Be kind to yourself. Start on videos that you can do. Adriene has great beginners videos. When I started I went too tough and almost quit. But I found the vids that matched my level then moved up. The 30 series.... any of them are great.

July to September I've done just half of the sets day and night following a LCIF diet and I vividly remember myself crying because I was too heavy to do the entire video in one go. I was 148 lbs. then. I am now 126 lbs. and losing weight slowly and steadily every day - still unable to do the entire video even with my new found stronger core and increased flexibility. HAHA. So don't get discouraged if you can't. My goal is 120 lbs. and I am still getting there. But I am happy that this video is still helping others 7 and going 8 years into the future.

I've recently gone through some very very horrible family issues and I wanted to work out to relieve stress but every workout was causing MORE stress. I tried running, light jogging, HIIT workouts, and nothing would help me relax and get my mind off of things. I've always disliked yoga, but I tried this workout because I was desperate and wow. Thank you Adriene, for making a path for me to get back in shape and for being my release from the real world.

Adrienne, I am a 63 year old who practices with you a couple of times each week. Thank you for generously sharing your session. i work with seniors (yes, seniors older than me) and each day I am reminded how important it is to stay flexible. Making yoga with Adriene is so much fun, sometimes I can barely hold a posture because she makes me laugh a lot (feels weird when you're on your own following a RU-vid channel), no matter whether is a 2013 video or a 2020 lockdown, she is genuinely pure love and keeps reminding everyone how to control your breath during each session. I adore her teaching tactics even when I am unable to follow and have to pause seven times to catch up haha! Stay healthy, stay well everyone

+quinnisquinn what is wrong with you? this is a fucking yoga video and you're talking about oral sex? you're disgusting. that conversation had nothing to do with oral sex, dumbass. that was definitely uncalled for.

2013! It’s 2021 December 1 today. How cool. I thought I was gonna toss my cookies today but breathing deeper helped and I ended in happy baby. Yup, I ventured into my own feel good and I only checked your posture once before I trusted myself that I was doing “right” I feel great, sweaty, strong and healthy. Thank you Adriene!

I remember attempting to do this video at the start of lockdown 2020 and the start of my journey with yoga, finding it too difficult and giving up! Now almost 2 years later, I stumbled onto this video again and did it with ease. Thanks Adrienne for all your videos! They kept me sane during all the lockdowns and are now a part of my daily routine:)

Twisted my ankle 2 weeks ago, came back to this practice today for the first time since, and could almost do the whole thing. So happy. My body's been missing and craving the movement and challenge. It's like I can appreciate this so much more now, post-injury (well almost 'post'). Grateful.

Yo Adriene. Kicked my ass. Haven't worked out in ages and my wife and I have started yoga with you. Really appreciate the mellow yoga and your witty banter keeps me smiling through the workout. Cheers.

Thank you so much - I have my Oxford Uni admissions test tomorrow and I really needed this to just destress and forget my troubles. Now I feel totally ready to show them what I'm capable of - thank you so much Adrienne for restoring my confidence and inner peace! xx

This is video helped me lose 10 bounds in the last 5 weeks. The first couple weeks were difficult but I changed my diet and was inspired by this video to get back on track. I was 134 pounds now I am 124. I often mix this video with a cardio routine later on, or do this video twice a day. THANKS ADRIENNE, I totally admit to curing you in the beginning but now I am totally in love with your sessions

Wow. This is definitely not an easy video! I kind of find it funny when people don't see yoga as exercise, but it is very challenging. You are great Adrienne, even though I had to stop sometimes and do a child pose before continuing. :)

Lea, was that more of a fetal position, 'cause that's where I found myself several times, even though I loved it!

Paul Curtis Childs pose is on your knees, sitting back on your heels, with your head bowed forward to touch the mat (or close) with many arm variations, such as ahead, palms resting on the mat, palms together and held above the head, or resting behind, next to the feet. Very close to fetal position :)

Decided to challenge myself with this Yoga for Weight Loss series. Day one with "old school Adriene" and as expected, she is all business! It's interesting to watch your teaching style evolve over the years. Thank you for this series. I look forward to evolving right along with you!

After years, and I mean YEARS, of next-to-near constant back pain from a herniated disc-- Yoga w/ Adriene is the only thing that has begun to bring me relief. Her classes are excellent. She has a TON of content and I think she is totally lovely and has such a charming personality. Don't listen to all these haters, Adriene! Keep up the great work, you are helping a ton of people.

I remember doing this routine a couple years ago with relative ease, I’m here doing it again after winter and my heaviest weight and i had to take two breaks in between for me to finish it. Recommended to a friend. Just love how funny Adriene is and hopefully now the suns back I can do these regularly
