If garonna wouldnt have assasinated king Llane, the people of stormwind would have defented their king to the last men. But when they heard that he was murdered they lost their will to fight an flee to live another day. "A thousand death, or one murder."
@@manaeth Actually its like every event are connect. Like when infinite flight try to mess with timeline and preven Arthas to become Lich King. Yes...High elf will survive and plague of scourge will not happened, But then no one will go to Northrend and find out what Yoggy try to do.
@@omikamiz568 Brann would have found out. Depending on how much trouble Ner'zhul would have caused without him being replaced by Arthas. That Yoggi was about to come out was mainly Branns doing as we didnt even care after dealing with Loken what went on there. Also it depends on how much Ner'zhu actually bothered with Yogg in terms of preventng him from being released without us interferring. Arthas was fully aware of him and knowing we would deal with him (keep in mind Yogg absolutely hated the Lich King) as the entirety of Wotlk, aside from the Wrathgate and the Light actually meddling with him ontop of the Frozen Throne, went competely according to Arthas' plan. Alas this is all kinda void ever since the massive dogshit retcon during Draenor that turned all the Old Gods into glorified meatsacks in terms of raw power aside from possibly Y'Shaarj and their only real power being the power to corrupt mortals (something that doesnt work with the scourge for instance). Even Archimonde or KJ are above them in terms of power nowadays. Or were for the matter.
"He will learn, no king rules forever! Only death is eternal!" At first i didn't understand what hr meant, but later when I beat Arthas and Terrenas tells him "No king rules forever" I was literaly mindblown...
@@theholywarss Arthas never tortured Bolvar. Arthas was gone. It was the Lich King that tortured Bolvar. The Lich King tore out the heart of Arthas and threw it down a pit beneath icecrown. Moreover, the Lich King appears during questing in howling fjord and says the phrase "I was a shaman once" to the player. He does not say "I was a paladin once" ....ever. No. The vision inside Yogg-Saron's brain room was referring to the fact that the Lich King would not be a king forever.
His voice is maddening its like even hearing an old can drive anyone insane you can feel and see in his laugh how insignificant you truly are to him titans playthings mean nothing to a GOD!
+Thivus Augustus I was telling my friend EXACTLY this, and linked him this video. I think he should say the "i am a lucid dream" quote, which is fitting in my opinion with the random spells
All the Old gods aside from Y'Shaarj are alive. We are not allowed to kill them. Only reseal them. Killing them would cause the planet (and ultimately the Titan Azeroth herself) to be ripped apart as they are too deeply rooted. Thats the reason why the titans choose to lock them away rather than killing them after dealing with Y'Shaarj.
I really want yogg saron back. In my language, Portuguese, his voice is so fucking cool (for me), I get myself vibing in the chair when he says "MADNESS WILL CONSUME YOU", that part in Portuguese literally drive me crazy
@@GniinG after all that build up, his death feels like a huge letdown. Sure, he's the weakest but that doesn't mean he should go down easy. He's still a manipulative bastard who deserve more than a mere beam to the forehead. We know that C'thun and Yogg is involved in many things, but they aren't being hinted that as much. Compare that to n'zoth. CoS is a raid whose bosses serve n'zoth. Azshara is his minion, and had another raid around her. He even planned on merging nya'lotha with the regular world, which is another raid by itself. He's more involved and his threat feels more personal than the other Old God. Yet he's defeated in a single patch.
maybe not the maw, but there are references that might show some kind of foreshadowing. Arthas´ "no king rules forever" is the most obvious one, but "the end of days is finally upon you" might hint Deathwing´s return in cataclysm, which was the next expansion, and "all of you who inhabit this miserable little seedling" could be a reference to the Titans´ origins, as it happened to Argus or Azeroth
The Flame Leviathan fight is annoying AF and more so because of the vehicles needed to drop its defenses enough to burn down its HP before the Enrage Timer kicks in. The Mimiron fight must be completed a certain way as well as Yoggy and the Storm Dragon fight. All the rest can just be burned down in a minute or less.
@@laertesindeed during the events of wotlk the lich king is mainly Arthas, Arthas subjugated nerzhul almost entirely when it came to the "dominating" conscienceness of the lich king, so yes when you're talking about the lich king during wotlk, you're talking about arthas
@@Rhyno231 False. During Wrath of the Lich King they had not retconned anything yet....and the Lich King was following the real game lore from Warcraft 3....so much so that shaman characters questing in Howling Fjord literally see the Lich King and hear him say "I was once a shaman" ....not "I knew a shaman" or "He was a shaman" or "I took over from a shaman" ....nope. He said "I was once a shaman". The Lich King was always Ner'zhul. The fact that you have to rely upon retconned nonsense from Legion and shadowlands that nobody accepts means you cannot and should not and must not lie about Wrath of the Lich King.
What are you talking about retconned in Legion/SL, I'm talking about lore you learn while you quest in Icecrown. Seems like you're the one who hasn't played the game
the stuff you couldn't understand (1:32 and 2:04) that was the language of the void if you pay close attention you know that when you're fighting the "Faceless Ones" (servants of the Void) they speak something similar to this and if you fight G'huun in the Champions of Azeroth Expansion (location: Zandalar, Raid: Heart of Corruption, Storyline order: Halls of Containment. Crimson Descent. and the last one is Heart of Corruption) he speaks the Void language I myself don't know what their language is called but the language sounds very distorted
The language did not have a name until they gave it one in Legion. The language is called Shath'Yar. Players who were shadow priests would spontaneously speak in that language while they were in their temporary void form.
If you go behind Goldshire on Stormwind the kids will go in the house and you will hear C'Thun's ghost he will say :YOU WILL ALL DIE!. And there will be Banshee's screams!
Or did he? He knew he would lose (Yl'ginoth whisper:before the last shadow falls(N'zoth), the father of sleep shall savor his feast)...seems like he actually wanted the heroes to do defeat him, corrupting the shadowlands...maybe?. I hope after coming from the shadowlands Azeroth will be fully taken by the N'zoth And btw: there's a huge gap in power between the heroes who defeated Arthas and the ones who defeated Archimonde, KJ, Argus and Nzoth. The Staff of Sargeras or Xal'alath are easily more powerful artifacts than frostmourne
We were fighting N'Zoth inside his Vision and ontop of that we fought his brain. Not his body. We wouldnt be able to fight him in his true form (you can see his actual size in the background when you stand before carapace) And ye, it depends if he didnt plan for his "defeat" considering Blizzard said that if we believe what happened in nyalotha (ergo "defeating him") then we have learned nothing from what NZoth tried to teach us, highly implying hes not dead and we can all agree that if Magni says something like "hes dead champions" can be safely disregarded for he has proven to be a colossal moron. Khadgar is like einstein compared to magni
To be fair, the champions/veteran adventurers that have endured and grown stronger since pre-war through Battle of Azeroth's end are more powerful than the raid team the Lich King once killed so there is that to consider
It's Sara's voice, except she is yogg saron's illusion and she turns into a val'kyr in phase 2 and says those lines in the transition between phase 1 and 2. You can hear how the sound changes mid speech from Sara's to Yogg's
stalker226 Because by then, Yogg-saron was no longer a challenge. And it's Ulduar I want to go through again, I never did finnish everything on 25man. And I missed a lot of achievements, a lot of fun challenges. I miss ICC aswell, but actually, I miss Naxx and Ulduar more.
Nyarlathotep Flagg I killed him before the nerf and I have to say that it was hard as hell. Full coop was the key to slay the beast. I also miss Naxxramas ( the old one ) because it was my first raid in WoW :(
WOTLK was pretty trash and is the reason we have Retail wow today. There were good things in the expansion sure but it was far from the best. The only reason ppl claim this is because they are lich king fan boys and it was the vanilla wow for many players. Wrath had a lot of glaring issues and horrible systems that really shaped the decline of WoW.
@@endofexistence2149 Wotlk had the best story, most balanced raid classes (only couple specs weren't raidable with, and they were awesome in PvP), great visuals, awesome aesthetics, good raids (Ulduar and ICC may very well be in top 10 greatest raids, while Ulduar is probably in top 3 if not first). Memorable bosses, good fights. What else do you want.
@@endofexistence2149 Ulduar is considered one of the best raids in all of the MMORPG genre so that's not my opinion. The viability of the classes is a thing that happened in WOTLK and isn't my opinion. ICC is generally viewed by the players as a good raid so that as well has to do with opinions of majority of the players. Mimiron is by many viewed as the best boss fight or atleast in top 3-5 the only things that may be subjective here are that wotlk has the best story. Also, your whole comment is your opinion which is subjective at best.
@@jozokrstanovic9040 wrath class balance for pvp was horrible, mop had better class balance. Ulduar is a great raid but its not the best especially at this point in time. Also trying to use my line to seem like you proved anything doesn't work. I already knew what I said was subjective. You are the one quoting stuff as if it were fact. I played during wrath it was okay but had a lot of problems. To many people just clamor to wrath because of the Arthas storyline and I don't blame them but i find other expansion to offer more in terms of visuals, game play, theme, and story. You should probably avoid talking as if what you are saying is factual.
the first book wasn't even popular , it's impossible blizzard took it from GOT ,their lore is much more rich than GOT no matter how much i like GOT too
From times when World of Warcraft was actually fantastic. Just makes me sad when i think of what has become of this once great game. World of Mediocrity.
