Two thoughts: 1. I fucking love it when Turps' bluffs fail spectacularly. 2. Look at Ben bloom! He's seems way more comfortable in front of the camera in this interview! I hope you have him as your dealer in all future games! 😘 That one's for you, Benny-boy!

I fucking love these and I wish they were more than an annual (?) thing. Pyrion and Tom's commentary really breaks down what's going on more than any actual live poker matches and I love everyone playing. I love the dress ups, the post-loss interviews. I'm glued for the whole half hour and am always left wishing there were hours more. This is far and away the best show Yogscast has produced. So much fun.

Duncan did the best plug for the app. He was really bad in the beginning but now he is pretty good. He even gave credit to Pokerist for his improvement.

Normally I find it annoying how in civ or open ttd or other games Duncan always seems like the most try hard when others are just there for a laugh, but I loved his focus here. I really look forward to the final. If Lewis gets no luck I expect to see some true rage.

The Civ videos are better when you don't know what's going on. I started playing civ because of the yogscast and started to get annoyed with their Civ videos once I knew how to play.

Can anyone explain how a side pot works? Like, why does it happen? I have been watching these since they started and that’s the only bit I still don’t really understand. I know they explained it but I didn’t really get their explanation.

roskoeec if people go all in and there are other players who keep raising a sidepot occurs, this is basically a portion of the money that only the players who were able to keep raising can win, the players who had to go all in are not able to win the sidepot because they were unable to add money to it

Ducnan deserved the win. He went from one of the worst players I've seen, to a pretty good player. He had a game plan that he didn't deviate from and he also kept his posture in pretty good check.

I thought the finalists were (in order) Turps, Sjin, Trott, Lewis, and Duncan. What's up with them mentioning Caff in the finals? Is Trott sitting out? Also, I'm pumped for the finals, no matter what! Duncan's play here was great, and he beat almost all the other finalists.
