Btw, the way mosquitoes suck is through capilary action, which means water/blood clings to the sides of the tube and brings it all up same way trees transport sap around themselves and this only works in a very small scale so no, you could not fuck a mosquito that way

I think it's a case of the human bias of only having ever experienced human consciousness that the possibility of other organism consciousness looks foreign to us. Mostly mammals and a few birds have features that remind us of how our consciousness works, so we call those more advanced, "because clearly we are the most advanced."
