I think this scene is just to show how considerate Mizuki is as a boyfriend. Yoh is the one who did all the chores in their household, and he was complaining about their sheet won’t dry, so Mizuki don’t want to burdened Yoh and just say they will only do it when it's not a rainy day. But, really communication is the biggest problem in their relationship. Mizuki clearly think they are officially dating, but Yoh only think he is Mizuki's 'slave' who has to always do anthing he want. And it’s been going on for 3 years 🤦‍♀️ They really need to start communicate properly, I can see in next episodes this lack of communication will be a big problem in their relationship.

Well, one of them considers them officially together (in his opinion, he proposed), while the other one doesn't (Yoh never thought of that conversation as a proposal). It's an awkward situation to be in when one partner considers them essentially married while the other (Yoh) considers them as roommates who have sex with each other, while at the same time wishing they were an official couple.

It was really Yoh cockblocking himself 0:47 I mean, who thinks about sheets after a hot session with someone as dominant as Segasaki? And Segasaki should have bought more sheets for Yoh not to worry about laundry that much, but he wasn’t thinking far ahead and he’s the weatherman 🤣 but he was being thoughtful, he didn’t want Yoh to have a hard time with the laundry and not Yoh giving a solution right away 1:34 because the wants the sex, he misses it even when he thinks of himself as an object, a slave 👀 the way Segasaki softly smiled 1:38 he loved to learn Yoh was eager about having sex with him. Yoh and Segasaki are just as bad as Hira and Kiyoi (My Beautiful Man). If they would just TALK openly and comfortably and LISTEN to one another, they would be so much happier and having adult relations hourly. All four men are awkward, inexperienced, bumbling around and being embarrassed while trying to come together and create a great relationship. Their lives could be so much easier. While Yoh and Hira assume that they are not worthy of Segasaki and Kiyoi, Segasaki and Kiyoi have Yoh and Hira on pedestals. Segasaki and Kiyoi are terrible at communicating, but they notice, care and are slowly growing.

The Japanese are supreme in the bl field; the stories are amazing and different, the characters are sensual, complex, generous, and respectful of each other, even in love - and so beautifully filmed. This one is in my top three bls I’ve seen to date; all three are Japanese: Mood Indigo, The End of the World with You, and Weatherman.. These 3 stay with me; they’re each so different. I can’t get out of Mood Indigo… it still is filling all my thoughts! (I just saw it for the first time two weeks ago and had to go back and watch it and the Pornographer ones again, read the mangas again, fantastic writing, powerful love!) ❤️‍🔥💔❤️‍🩹
