Yoimiya has definitely fallen into being niche. She CAN clear content, but she's like itto in that she needs specific units. The difference is that she requires units that you probably have built already. I wouldn't say she's bad, she's just not better at anything than other characters. She's marginally worse at single target than Hu Tao, completely unuseable in AoE, and suffers greatly without a shield. All of this being said, she is pretty good when I don't feel like thinking. She's much better than diluc or klee and is probably the third best pyro carry in single target but that just leaves her as mid. I agree with some points in your video but I disagree that she's garbage.
5:25 Mualani teams use Deyha in situations you don't want to use Xiangling and Zhongli in her team. Deyha's slow pyro app really doesn't matter when Mualani applies hydro 3 times in her rotation
For me personally it's Diluc. He was my first pyro 5 star I spent days farming his artifacts only for his highest dmg to be Around 20k on melt. The day I got Lyney was the day I completely forgot about Diluc
0:47 oh, easy.. 1- hu tao: boring character, boring gameplay, and no way I'd pay to play with a character that I have to keep jumping like a primate bc her own kit sucks.. and you have to pull for c1 to fix an innate issue?? also, her damage is kinda lame, specially when we have arlecchino now.. 2- bennett: boring character, boring gameplay, boring name, boring existence.. I hate his gameplay and personality along with xingqiu.. if both two were deleted from the game today, I wouldn't even notice.. in over 4k hours of genshin, I never touched him and xingqiu for more the 10 minutes back when I got them.. and both still are lvl20, just bc I wanted to get the first acquaint fate.. didn't bother to get the others.. 3- xiangling: her character was interesting the first time she appeared, but that's all.. her gameplay is ok, but leaning to the bad side.. mine is lvl50 +/-, but I stopped playing with her the moment I got yanfei.. 4- xinyan: she could've been so much better in all aspects, and she's either always pushed aside during events, or barely makes any appearance.. also her kit kinda meh, and her shield could last longer.. 5- gaming: I'm not a fan of a plunge-restricted gameplay.. same reason why I didn't and won't pull for cloud retainer.. as for yoimiya, she's a good character.. she's definitely not at the same damage level as my arlecchino, and she needs zhongli on the same team to be able to fight without interruption.. other than that, I see no issues.. and as a character, her personality is adorable, and her idle animations are quiet and happy.. it's the complete opposite from hu tao, where every time she appears, it makes me skip any dialog.. as for the others: chevreuse is nice, mine is c6, and her overload team (raiden, clorinde, arlecchino, chevreuse) makes some big numbers.. lyney is an ok character, but didn't connect with me enough to pull for him.. dehya is seeing some deserved attention.. finally.. now my c1 dehya helps in my c2r1 mualani team.. thoma is fine as a character, but his shield could last longer.. this is the main reason I'm not using him.. yanfei is goddess.. that's all.. klee is kinda clunky to play, but I'll pull for her in the future.. specially bc I want her and her little witch outfit.. diluc never caught my attention, so he's there.. lvl20.. amber is the incredible character you first remove from your party when you get another character.. and if it's not another bow user, you have to keep crawling back to her, until you pull another bow user..
