I’m pretty sure choice items kept their effects but they didn’t lock you until dmax was over. Took advantage of that with Dracozolt for a while, and I remember the speed boost worked.

Almost none of the pokemon rules are written, expecially competitive ones, but they are not that difficult: you can figure those out, as ten year olds do with the type chart, or you can read those online on bulbapedia or something.

@@Dovahshark No grass or electric will be able to hit kyogre and survive the kyogre's retaliation. Kyogre has sp. def sets.

@@danielhernandez2575 and electric types are fast, and some can have attack sets...I think, haven't played in a while lol. Either way, using 6 pokemon of the same type is never smart. If they had brought a Groudon, they wouldn't need to worry about kyogre's weaknesses at all, because Kyogre gets ice beam to counter grass, and Groudon is immune to electric, so they can send Groudon in to take the hit. Then they can bring something to counter groudon's weaknesses and so on.

I believe they were being sarcastic/ironic, otherwise they look quite dumb

@@ItsJustKaya Thats the thing WAS Manaphy's signature move, if something else can do your signature move (Even if that something else was introduced on a later gen.) is it really a signature move anymore?! Tl.dr: I know that back in the day only Manaphy could do it, but my dumbass self just refuses to call it an signature move if more than one pokémon can do it. The only reason i know magerna has heart swap anyways is because i use it to counter Geomancy Xerneas in Gen 7 Ubers, to then get my counter countered by Marhshadow and lose anyways.
