We used to rock this one in my college choir back in the day. Yolanda, I was the last musician/director for the Bethel Male Chorus from Reidsville, NC back in the day with Leon, Arthur, Clay, and the guys. We used to travel to Houston often to sing for Southeastern's anniversary weekend. I also accompanied you on keys a couple of times when you came to NC. Thank you for the amazing example you've set over the years as both a gospel artist and humanitarian. I'm in Chicago now teaching Black Gospel Music History & Performance at Northwestern University. Ms Yolanda seriously and truthfully some of the members in the choir in the back row are Disrespectful ,they are video recording on their phones and laughing that's a distraction while you are singing to the Lord ,Mommy , GOD bless you and continuing serving the Lord always Mommy ,,Love the performance 👏👏👏❤💗💖💟💋💋
@@4knewt505im glad i heard sing this as an adult, finally!When this song 🎵 was released it was and still is amazing!! initially, I thought the choir was using phones to get the verses but I think I'm wrong. 😢 I'll go ahead and post the record version for my throw back. I wish I could have used this (the cell phones are too distracting).
Yolanda can sing, I love this song and it is one song I will always love hearing Yolanda sing. I wish the musicians would have played the music with a little faster tempo so she could minister with such anointing as she usually does, Nevertheless, God is so good,
I saw this video a few years ago, I was soooo disappointed to see them with cameras recording while backing her up?!?!? You’re supposed to at least act like you aren’t star struck or whatever is the reason for not respecting the ministry and who you’re ministering to. Secondly, I agree, they weren’t paying attention (even the director?!) when she came back I came back with her the first time I heard this. Maybe there’s different levels of back up or upbringing. We were always ready for wherever the leader would go planned and unplanned. Props to Yolanda ✊🏾🎶💜for keeping it going and even changing where she was to be in unity with the choir🙄, she shouldn’t have had to do that🤦🏾♀️ I actually did enjoy the new version minus those obvious mishaps
Yolanda's voice is impeccable!!! But what is this tomfoolery of choir members clearly recording her with their cell phones WHILE THEY'RE SINGING??? Totally unacceptable.
How you pulling out your phone to record anything? When I think about her ministry and God's sacrifice, how can I do anything but shout in that moment?
Choir and musicians were a disgrace could have done way better than that this is 2018, but the original recording is still king. Yolanda still talented enough to sing over that mess.

Wonderful song, and she did a fantastic job. Unfortunately, the distractions from the people using their phones to record are typical in this digital society. Other artists would have shut it down. I'm just saying....
to all those who think they were using their cell phones for the lyrics...judging by the way they were angling their phones, they were recording/capturing themselves...at one point you could see the camera light on - on the female's cell phone, is there 'Anyone', anything, or anywhere that's sacred anymore? ridiculous smh!!!
Choir Director has not trained her singers on professional behavior when they are backing up professional singers. All those phones. Their focus is on a person and not God.
Did they not get the memo that this is ALL about praising the Lord? If they got paid 4 this then everyone should demand their $ back. This is ridiculously ridiculous! The lady in the front row...I mean is she reading the words or filming herself?, If u don't know the words then kindly get on the back row or better yet the audience.
At first I thought they didn't know the words but they are recording. Yolanda Adams is wonderful. I love her music. But recording in middle of singing not cool.

Looks so tacky with all phones out but thats just my opinion and im not god so i cant say how god felt. I do believe god wants us to enjoy life and have fun, so god probably sees this through different graceful eyes than myself.
